As a graduate of Gateway High School and the 2017 National Champions, University of Central Florida, Anderson has been a household name in Osceola for over a decade. | 2018 manager & staff & manager 2018 He worked 12 years for Osceola County in multiple capacities of the sports industry, coordinating successful events year-round highlighted by Spring Training with the Houston Astros. His tireless efforts helped establish Osceola County as a premier location for a variety of nationwide tournaments and events. Erik joined the Florida Fire Frogs in 2018 as the team’s President/GM, fulfilling a long-time goal of paving his way to the big leagues. With Major League Baseball experience under his belt, Erik is prepared to bring success to the Atlanta Braves affiliate as they enter their second season in the Florida State League. In his short time at the helm of the Florida Fire Frogs, he has emphasized “community first,” stressing the importance of integrating into the local atmosphere. | Erik is happily married to his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and adored by their incredible two-year old son, Dominik. atlanta braves atlanta Adam Whitlow, Assistant General Manager Adam enters his first year working in the Florida Fire Frogs Front office. The Long Island, N.Y. native has worked with Osceola County for 10 years, including five years on the operations side with the Houston Astros spring training. He graduated with a degree in sports management from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., and played four years of baseball with the school’s team. Adam also coached local high school baseball for three years. | During his spare time, Adam enjoys playing gold, not being able to solve a Rubik’s cube, and wearing shorts. 2018 Player bios Player 2018 Beth DeSimone, Senior Director of Business Development Beth enters her third season in baseball, and second at the minor league level. Prior to working with the Fire Frogs, Beth spent 2017 with the Advanced-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, the Daytona Tortugas. She decided to take her talents to Kissimmee, where she is now the head of the Sales Department. | 2017 season review season 2017 Baseball is a passion of Beth’s, and she has played softball her entire life. During her spare time, she enjoys slow-pitch softball, spending time with her friends and family, and travels to check off each MLB stadium on her bucket list. Her favorite sports teams include: the Miami Dolphins, Miami Heat, Florida Gators, and the Houston Astros. Beth is a 2015 graduate of the University of Florida and bleeds orange and blue. When asked what her life motto would be, she an- swered, “Go Gators!” Enrique Guerra, Corporate/Group Sales Manager - Hispanic Market | Enrique is entering his first season in Minor League Baseball; with over 25 years of retail management experi- Fire Records Frogs ence, Enrique decided to pursue his dream of working in baseball. Enrique is starting his Minor League Baseball career as the Corporate / Group Sales Manager for the Hispanic Market in Central Florida. Enrique graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Business Management. In his free time he loves spending quality time with his family and enjoys going to the theme parks with his two daughters. Enrique has a passion for watching professional sporting events and enjoys watching his favorite teams the New York Yankees, New York Knicks and New York Jets. | Leslie Martinez, Marketing and Promotions Manager opponents Before joining the Fire Frogs, Leslie worked with the Tampa Bay Rays as a project Manager. Here, her respon- sibilities ranged from coordinating the Rays MLB Authentication program to managing major game day events and even running an after school math tutoring program for local elementary school children. Previously, Leslie worked in the Athletics Marketing department at the University of Central Florida while earning her MBA and Masters in Sport Business Management from UCF.
