Yes, the Japanese Language Program courses are divided into 7 levels, with students placed according to their placement test results. Beginners, J1-J3, study general reading and writing, listening and conversation.

Location: From 40 to 60 minutes away from Ichigaya campus. Students are provided with breakfast and dinner Monday- Saturdays, except on national holidays. They can live in the centre of the Tokyo metropolitan area at an affordable cost.

Room type: Single room Hosei-subsidised rent (exchange students only): 247,200 yen (AU$3260) / 6 months; 494,400 yen (AU$6515) / year. Privately-financed rent (non-exchange students) : 397,200 yen / 6 months; 794,400 yen / year (no subsidy).
