As our budget was for 2500 cups, we knew we couldn’t cover too much of the fence. The limited colours, and size of each panel, also restrained what kind of images we could make. So, we knew our de- sign needed to be small, simple, focused, and appeal- ing to the community. There were many unique ideas for what to put on the fence: school mascots, textile designs, and a very cool suggestion from Darcy Scott to have a space nebula. But the main ideas suggested by board members, and the community at large, were nature and history.
