Båda parterna ser givetvis en framtid för Sebastian Larsson i AIK och nu är det formellt klart med landslagsmannen i AIK-tröjan även under 2021. – Det känns otroligt kul och viktigt för AIK som klubb att signera ett år till med Sebastian. Han har en stor inverkan på det här laget och är en stor förebild för övriga spelare, säger AIK Fotbolls sportchef Henrik Jurelius. – Det känns skönt att det är klart med ett år till i AIK och det har aldrig funnits någon tvekan från min sida, så det tog inte många minuter för oss att komma överens. Det har endast varit AIK som gäller för mig och nu ser jag fram emot ett starkt och bra nästa år. Vi längtar alla efter att kunna möta supportrarna igen för att tillsammans göra 2021 till ett fint AIK-år, säger Sebastian Larsson. 35-årige Sebastian Larsson, född den 6 juni 1985, inledde sitt fotbollsspelande i moderklubben IFK Eskilstuna. Mikael Lustig kom till AIK i augusti 2020 efter en lång karriär utomlands och har hittills spelat 14 tävlingsmatcher för klubben. Han står noterad för 87 A-landskamper för Sverige och har bland annat vunnit den skotska ligan åtta år i rad med Celtic FC. – Att vi i en rådande pandemi fick möjligheten att ta in en svensk landslagsspelare visar hur speciell en klubb som AIK är, att vi nu får möjligheten att förlänga relationen till Mikael är helt och hållet supportrarnas förtjänst.
