Downsview Park, located in the heart of the North York area within the City of Toronto, is comprised of a 291-acre (118-hectare) dynamic urban park and tenanted buildings that reflect the diverse nature of the surrounding Downsview community. It is a combination of expansive green space improved by a 3-kilometre circuit path, a lake, an orchard, forested trails, grasslands, picnic and rest areas, and public art.
The active areas of the Park include a range of commercial, recreation and institutional uses from soccer pitches and other indoor sport facilities, a hockey arena, educational institutions, film studios, flea market and various office spaces.
As part of an exciting new initiative, an experienced Signage Design Consultant has been retained to develop a bilingual signage and wayfinding program for Downsview Park.
