Add Events to Previous Registration – Before Monday, September 3 If you register for the reunion and then decide to add an event(s) or guest(s), go back to the registration site, fill out the required information at the top, add the new additions to events and any new guest names, select continue, and submit your credit card information again. You do not need to pay another Registration Fee. This new registration will be combined with your previous registration. You will receive an email confirmation of the additional event(s) added. 2. Attendee List If you wish to see which classmates have signed up for the reunion, an Attendee List is available on the reunion website. o This list is updated approximately every two weeks and shows just the main registrant, not guests. To confirm your attendance for the reunion, see (Register (How To & Important Dates)) below. 4. Attire Thursday Golf Outing: Slacks or Bermuda style shorts, shirt with collar; Soft Spikes Only Thursday Community Service Project: Casual Thursday Welcome Picnic: Casual Friday Hudson River Cruise: Casual Friday Ike Hall Events & Memorial Service: Business Casual Friday Evening Events: Dressy Casual Attire Saturday Cadet Review: Business Casual or ASU A w/beret. Saturday Pre-Game Meal, Football Game, & Post-Game Tailgate: Spirit Casual Sunday Brunch: Casual Comfortable walking shoes and rain gear are suggested for the entire reunion. Business Casual Attire: slacks with open collared shirt and sweater or sports coat for men; slacks with blouse, skirt and blouse, or pants suit for women. Dressy Casual Attire: seasonal sport coat or blazer and slacks, dress shirt, casual button-down shirt optional tie, open-collar or polo shirt for men; dress, skirt and dressy top, dressy pants outfit, nice jeans and dressy top for women. Casual Attire: khakis or good jeans, cargo or Bermuda shorts, polo shirt, turtleneck, casual button-down shirt and/or sweater for men; sundress, long or short skirt, khakis or good jeans, shorts, polo shirt, turtleneck, casual button-down blouse for women. 5. Cancellation Timeline (Reunion) Cancel on or before 9/3/18: o Refund for individual events & meals. o Registration fee not refunded. o Memorabilia will be mailed to you after the reunion Cancel after 9/3/18 and through reunion: o All refunds for individual events & meals on a case-by-case basis decided after the reunion. o Registration fee not refunded. o Registration packet and memorabilia will be mailed to you after the reunion. Cancellations (Reunion – How to) To cancel an event, a guest’s attendance, or the reunion completely - contact the WPAOG Alumni Events Team: [email protected] or 845.446.1649. 7. Class and West Point Gear (Memorabilia) Items are not available to ship or for pick-up until the reunion. To pick up your items at the reunion, select “Pick-Up” as the shipping option on the check-out page (drop down menu). You will receive your items at the reunion. Memorabilia pick-up times and locations will be listed on the final reunion agenda posted on the reunion website and handed out at reunion check-in. If you are not attending the reunion, select “ship (ground)” as the shipping option on the check-out page (drop down menu), and your order will be mailed to you after the reunion. Items will not mail until the week after the reunion. All reunions sales are final. Questions? Contact the WPAOG Gift Shop directly, 1.800.426.4725. 9. Confirmation of Registration When you complete registration by submitting your credit card information, you will receive a confirmation message in your web browser. You will also receive this same confirmation in an email to the email address you used to register. Please keep this confirmation for your records; however, you will not need it to check-in for the reunion. The subject of the confirmation email is “Class of 1988 Reunion – September 13-16, 2018” and the sender is [email protected], so if you are having trouble locating your confirmation, you can do a search of these key words. If you still can’t find it, please email the WPAOG Alumni Events team at [email protected] and request it be sent again. Please mention your name and class year when writing to them. 10. Dietary Restrictions for you and your guest(s) If your allergy is not listed, select “Other” and type your allergies in the comments section. The Alumni Events Team will review your needs and contact you if we have any questions. Please see below for notes on the different venues you’ll visit during the reunion: o The Cadet Mess Hall is not able to accommodate any dietary restrictions. o DCA Culinary Group (meals served at Eisenhower Hall and most tailgates) is not able to accommodate severe allergies. o The hotel can accommodate all dietary restrictions with advance notice (by properly filling out the Dietary Restrictions section on the online registration form). 12. Entering West Point Starting June 7, 2016, visitors 17 years of age and above without a valid (not expired) Department of Defense issued identification card must report to the Visitor Control Center at 2107 New South Post Road, West Point N.Y. 10996 to conduct a NCIC-III background check prior to entering the installation in accordance with DOD Directive 2014-05. All visitors without a valid DOD ID card must present a valid form of identification to enter West Point; click here to view the current list of approved state driver’s licenses. If you do not have an approved license, you will be required to show another valid form of identification, such as a passport, to enter post. Football Game Day Information www.armygameday.com (parking maps, pregame timeline, facts about West Point, etc.) All gates to Michie Stadium will open 2 hours prior to kickoff. Items and behavior prohibited at Michie Stadium o Artificial noisemakers o Outside food or drink o Pets (With the exception of working service animals) o Umbrellas o Weapons o Bags (As noted within the bag policy listed online) o Diaper bags o Hover boards Page 4/15 Class of 1988 – 30th Reunion FAQ o Drones o Any items deemed inappropriate, hazardous or unsafe by event staff 14. Football Game Day Shuttle Shuttle Bus Map & Info Game day shuttles begin 4.5 hours prior to kickoff. Game day shuttle buses are available from all parking areas (all shuttle routes) to the review. After the review, all shuttle routes pick up behind the Review Stands for approximately 45 minutes, then only the green shuttle route will pick up and drop off in the area of the Review Stands. After the game, shuttle buses take fans back to all of the parking areas for 60-90 minutes. 15. Football Game Tickets The Class of 1988 will be seated together on the East Sideline of Michie Stadium in Section 32. You must purchase your tickets by Friday, July 27, 2018 to guarantee seating with the Class. If you missed the Friday, June 27 deadline, the Ticket Office has set aside 100 seats in the class section available on a first come first served basis. To order tickets, you must call the Army Ticket Office at the number below. If you are not staying on post you will need a game day parking pass. See below (Parking Game Day) for ordering information. Persons with season tickets or another type of ticket package can exchange their tickets for tickets in the reunion area at no extra charge by contacting the Army Ticket Office. Wheelchair accessible seating is available at the top of sections 8-11 and 14-17 by calling the Army Ticket Office directly. If you wish to sit with a specific fellow graduate(s), be sure to place your orders together.
