NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME LAST NAME RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The applicant must agree to abide by all rules, as changed from time to time by the Organisers. 2. The applicant must be atleast 18 years of age and not more than 23 years of age as on 31st December 2008. The applicant is required to produce an age proof (Passport, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, driver's license, etc). 3. The applicant is not / has not been married, and has never had a marriage annulled or never given birth to a child; has never been pregnant nor a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify the organisers immediately. 4. The applicant is a natural born female. 5. The applicant should be a bonafide Indian citizen. 6. The Pantaloons Femina Miss India East 2009 is being conducted for short listing contestants for the National Pageant - Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009. 7. The applicant or the applicant’s immediate family is not related to any person employed in ABSL, TIML, TIL, Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited, or any other company of the Times Group, Sun TV Network, contest sponsors, and their sub- contractors, or any of the judges as informed to the applicant at any stage. In case of such a relation, the applicant will disclose the same immediately. 8. The applicant is not under any commercial contract with any modeling agency at the time of appearing for the auditions. 9. The applicant once short listed cannot be a part of any other commercial contract or pageant. 10. The Organisers are not responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications on any account and for any reason whatsoever. 11. The applicant has not won the Pageant previously. 12. The winner of the Pantaloon Femina Miss India East 2009 will get a direct entry in to the top 10 finalists of the National Pageant - Pantaloons Femina Miss India Pageant 2009. 13. The Elimination round expenses (Travel & Stay) are to be borne by the participant. 14. The applicant will have to participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout as per the schedule given 15. The Organisers are not responsible if sponsors do not make good the prizes promised by them. 16. The Organisers are not responsible for any loss or physical injury that occurs to the applicant on account of their participation in the event. The applicant will participate at her own risk and will have no claim against ABSL or any other Times of India Group Company in any regard. 17. Incorrect information will result in disqualification, whether discovered prior, during or after participation. 18. Judges decision is final in all cases. 19. Only persons of good health and moral character can participate. 20. Only the applicant will be allowed inside the designated venue of the preliminaries. 21. Schedule of events and qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of the Organisers. 22. The Organisers are not responsible for non-completion / non-occurrence of the event. 23. In the event of any dispute, Organisers’ decisions are final and binding on the applicant. 24. The courts of Mumbai have the jurisdiction over all disputes. 25.
