We decided to take pause and review a year that offered an immense amount of change. With this we examined our year in review through a lense of cultural headlines, new innovations and our own journey.

Let’s look at 2020 with a new clarity by taking a ride on THE CHANGE CURVE*

It says people go through five main emotional states: Shock, Denial, Anger, Depression and Acceptance - when experiencing a change. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, a Swiss-American psychiatrist, is attributed as the author of this.

For 2HEADS we have taken inspiration from the CHANGE CURVE model and adjusted it to reflect the ‘impact’ Covid has had on culture and the work environment against ‘time’ for the calendar year of 2020. We still include the five stages along the curve and have segmented the year into four quarters of STATUS QUO, DISRUPTION, LEARNING, EXPLORATION to depict the journey we’ve been on.

Our interpretation allows one to reflect through the lense of global headlines, trends and achievements throughout the year to shed some perspective in preparing us for 2021.
