FOREWORD We are very pleased that “Dagon University Research Journal” is presenting its 11st volume. This issue contains thirty eight outstanding articles which shed light on contemporary research questions in social science, natural science, law, computing, and language and literature fields. We are also delighted that the researches from variable fields demonstrate an interest to share their research with the readers of this journal. This research journal is a collection of the best papers submitted by different departments of Dagon University.
Researchers must publish. It is said that a good research work is not really finished until it has been written and published. Results must be communicated and discussed with the rest of the researches to be validated or refuted. Moreover, they need to be shared with the rest of society. However, useful research is often locked inside institutions, published as internal reports only. Other interesting results lie in libraries as thesis and monographs, out of the reach of the academic community. Recently education reform has been launched in our country. At the same time, we suffer increasing pressure from Departments of Higher Education, Scientific Committees, Research Councils, Education Ministries, etc., to publish regularly and, preferably, in widely diffused, high standard journals. Thus, researchers might try to find a subject which is very new, cutting edge or of “global” in order to get their articles easily accepted in a major international journal. As we were aware at the first issue, a journal needs commitment, not only from editors but also from editorial boards and the contributors. Without the support of our editorial boards we would not dare to start and continue. Special thanks, also, go to the contributions of the journal for their trust, patience and timely revisions. We continue welcome article submissions in all fields of arts and science.
