Candidates whose names are in bold have pending documents (see symbol against name and explanation below). Necessary documents should be submitted to the M. Phil-PhD office of the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta latest by I p.m. on June 12. Without this. these students will not be allowed to apnear for the admission test. The decision of the Centre in this regard will be final and binding and no further discussion will be entertained. * Candidates are required to submit copies of all mark sheets. For Masters or its equivalent course mark sheets at least up to Part I / Semester 3 are required. Those appearing for /awaiting results of supplementary examinations should supply proof of the same. In case results have been declared but mark sheets have not been issued, a letter to this effect is required from the concerned authority.

* Incorrect demand draft has been submitted by the candidate. Demand draft for the correct amount (Rs. 100) and with the correct name (Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta) must be submitted.

INF'ORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

1. Candidates are required to bring their PHOTO IDENTITY PROOF.

2. Candidates will be called for Interview on the basis of their performance in the Admission Test; however, the admission to the programme will be determined solely on the basis of candidates' performance during Interview.

J. All candidates who are called for Interview must ensure that copies of any relevant documents (particularly mark sheets, degree certificates, and proof of any pending examinations/results) which were not submitted at the time of application are submitted to the M. Phil-PhD office latest by 23 Jwrc 2017.

4. Candidates who have applied under OBC(A) or OBC(B) categories must submit a recent (dated no later than June 2016) non-creamy layer certificate latest by 23 Jwrc 2017 along with a certificate showing that they belong to OBC(A) or OBC(B) category. In case candidates are not able to obtain the requisite certificates by that date, they are required to obtain a self-r.rndertaking that they belong to non- creamy layer of OBC(A) or OBC(B)and stating that if selected for admission, they would provide the requisite certificate at the time of admission.

5. Mark sheets of all semesters of MA (including Part II / Semester IV) along with final Masters degree certificate must be submitted latest by September 30, 2017. [n case of non-submission or if on the basis of the final result, the candidates do not fuIfilI the eligibility criteria; their admission is liable to be cancelled.
