MotorCity Casino Hotel Proudly Welcomes Chante Mooré and Tony Toni Toné Sound Board September 16, 2016

(Detroit – July 25, 2016) MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to welcome Chanté Moore and Tony Toni Toné to Sound Board on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 8pm.

Chanté Moore is an award-winning R&B and jazz singer, songwriter, and actress. She made her debut in 1992 with Precious. A Love Supreme came in 1994, followed by her Grammy Award-nominated This Moment Is Mine. In 2002 Moore won a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Single for the song “Contagious,” featuring The Isley Brothers and R. Kelly. Moore released the duet albums Things That Lovers Do and Covered/Uncovered, both in 2006 with Kenny Lattimore. Also in 2006 Moore released a double CD of gospel and R&B love songs. Her album Love The Woman came in 2008.

Tony Toni Toné is a soul/R&B group. During the band's heyday in the 1990’s, it was comprised of Dwayne Wiggins on lead vocals and guitar, his brother Raphael Saadiq (born Charles Ray Wiggins) on lead vocals and bass, and their cousin Timothy Christian Riley on drums and keyboards. Other members were Elijah Baker, Carl Wheeler, Randall Wiggins, and Amar Khalil, who is the current lead singer of the group, along with Antron Haile.
