8,45 Glömda Miljarder Kronor I Svenska Hushåll 8,45 glömda miljarder kronor i svenska hushåll Enligt beräkningar gjorda av TV- och dataspelskedjan GAME har svenska hushåll retro TV-spel, basenheter och tillbehör bortglömda i förråd och garderober för 8,45 miljarder* kronor. I takt med att det kommit allt fler nya typer av spelkonsoler på marknaden hamnar retrospel (ex NES, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Mastersystem, Sega Megadrive, Sony Playstation och Xbox) längre och längre in i garderoben. Enligt beräkningar gjorda av TV- och dataspelskedjan GAME har svenska hushåll gömt och glömt 8,45 miljarder kronor. – Vi ser en allt större efterfrågan av så kallade retrospel. Vi vill därför gärna hjälpa dessa bortglömda spel ut ur garderoben för att hitta nya hem, säger Jonas Franzén, Head of Commercial på GAME. GAME har under våren satsat på ett pilotprojekt i fyra butiker där de erbjudit köp och sälj av äldre konsoler. Konceptet har mottagits mycket väl och därför väljer kedjan att utöka konceptet till alla butiker. – Nu ger vi de svenska hushållen möjlighet att låta dammsamlarna, de som så länge glömts bort, ge ett extra tillskott i exempelvis semesterkassan.
