“The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary and she conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Celebration of the Solemnity of the Annunciation Monday, 7:00pm, April 8th Incarnation Catholic Church 55 Williamsburg Lane Centerville, OH 45459 map –> http://goo.gl/maps/VcfaZ God becoming man in the person of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in all of human history. God took a full share of our life, and even our death, so that we could share in His eternal life. At Mary’s acceptance of the Father’s invitation, Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and became incarnate in her. By becoming one of our own family, Jesus our brother infinitely elevates the dignity of all human life, from conception through death, and into eternal life. The Knights of Columbus have proclaimed March 25th the Day of the Unborn Child, recognizing thereby the connection between the earliest life of Jesus and the beginnings of all human life. Thus, there is ample reason for great joy and celebration!
