Van Oord makes land expansion possible by dredging sand to create new land. Reclaimed land can be used for various purposes such as ports, industrial estates, nature reserves and housing and tourism developments. One example is our remarkable, -renowned megaproject, . Benefiting from a diverse fleet of dredging equipment, our 150 years’ experience and our Marine ingenuity, we can dredge a range of material in water depths between two and 100 metres. We create more space for ’s growing population. When executing our projects, we minimise impact on the communities and environments we work in. The position In this role you can really challenge yourself. From project plan preparation to the enforcement of working safely, you and your team, together with local partners and colleagues from the head office, will realize prestigious projects. You see innovative plans becoming reality and you know that you have made a very important contribution to this. Furthermore, you:

• Prepare project plans; • Monitor the progress of the work; • Make sure the team works safely and that the results meet the quality requirements; • Deliver prestigious (inter)national projects together with the team and your colleagues at the head office.

Your profile • Bachelor or master’s degree in Civil-, Maritime Engineering or equivalent; • Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing; • Willingness to work abroad for +/- 7 months a year.
