ANSWER MINISTER OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI NARENDRA SINGH TOMAR) (a) & (b): Yes, the Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM) is an attempt to make the selected rural areas socially, economically and physically sustainable regions and strives to strengthen the rural areas by providing economic, social and infrastructure amenities, thus leading to sustainable and balanced regional development in the country. The Mission aims to develop 300 Rurban Clusters with thematic economic growth across the country under this innovative Mission. The basic infratructure is one of the component under the Mission. Fourteen components have been suggested as desirable for the Clusterto ensure an optimum level of development. States/UTs may choose the components based on the detailed analysis of their clusters in their Integrated Cluster Action Plans (ICAPs). The funding for Rurban Clusters is through various schemes of the Government converged into the Cluster. -

International Journal of Advanced Research and Review
IJARR, 5(10), 2020; 40-45 International Journal of Advanced Research and Review www.ijarr.in PHYSICOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF WATER SAMPLES IN AND ARROUND ELURU AND THEIR COMPARATIVE STUDY 1N.Madhavi, 2G.Srinivasa Rao, 3B.Anu Radha, 4K.Varalakshmi, 5V.Nagalakshmi 1,2,3,4,5Ch.S.D.St.Theresa’s College for Women(A), Eluru ABSTRACT Water is one of the most valuable of all earth-known natural resources. It is essential to all living species, most environmentally sustainable structures, human health, food production, and economic growth. Drinking water protection is critical to the health. Related pollutants impact the quality of the drinking water .These pollutants cause severe health issues. The Drinking Water quality becomes low due to these pollutants. Such low quality water also causes many diseases in humans. The purpose of this research is to provide information on the physicochemical characteristics to discuss its suitability for human consumption. To determine water quality, physicochemical aspects of the water were investigated. The water quality is determined in neighbouring villages in 11 areas of Eluru. Samples of water taken from Madhepalli, NTR Colony, Pathebadha, Ponangi, Satrampadu, Shanti nagar, Tangellamudi, Vempadu, Vanguru, Vatluru and Vasantawada. Then each water sample is under study for water samples' physico- chemical status. In physico-chemical research, different consistency parameters are calculated including pH, Basic conductivity (SP), total dissolved solids (TDS), total hardness according to WHO water quality standards; the pH of all water samples was found to be nearly neutral. All the Parameters were within the limits permitted. Stated and explained the findings. Keywords: Physico-chemical analysis, water analysis, water samples, Total hardness of water, INTRODUCTION Water is a product of universe use. -
Linear Correlation and Study of Ground Water Quality of Pedapadu Mandal
International Journal of Management, Technology And Engineering ISSN NO : 2249-7455 Linear Correlation and study of ground water quality of Pedapadu Mandal , West Godavari district, AP, India. By Dr. CA Jyothirmayee, Lecturer in Chemistry, Ch SD St Theresa’s college for women, Eluru [email protected] Abstract Fresh water is one of the most important resources crucial for the survival of all the living beings. It is even more important for the human being as they depend upon it for food production, industrial and waste disposal, as well as cultural requirement. Water plays an essential role in human life. Although statistics, the WHO reports that approximately 36% of urban and 65% of rural Indian were without access to safe drinking water. Human and ecological use of ground water depends upon ambient water quality. India’s declining ground water resources both in quality and quantity is a product of many driving factors. Though groundwater contamination is due to natural and anthropogenic activities, ground water pollution is mostly due to knowingly or unknowingly human activities. In order to understand water quality, it is very useful to display data in a visual manner. Because environmental data is also inherently spatial in nature (i.e. it varies geographically and due to environmental conditions), viewing the data in a way which displays this geographical variation is of particular use. For example, seeing where different water quality parameters are higher in concentrations can help explain causes and sources of contaminants. It is in this context, the ground water quality is determined in this mandal. In Physico-chemical analysis , various quality parameter are measured including pH, turbidity, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS),total hardness(TH),content of 2+ 2+ - 2- calcium (Ca ),magnesium (Mg ),chloride(Cl ), sulphate (S04 ), Iron (Fe), DO, BOD, COD, 2- Total alkalinity (TA) and Nitrate (NO3 ) concentration present in ground water. -

As mentioned in the news papers, the suspected cause for the incident reported by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is due to the presence of Lead and Nickel found in excess to the desirable limits in the blood samples of affected people. Further, AIIMS indicated the symptoms of affected people may be due to Organochlorine pesticides. 2. From the studies conducted by CSIR-NEERI, it was observed that there was no contamination of surface and ground water of Eluru town due to Lead and Nickel. Even as per APPCB analysis reports, there was no contamination of surface and ground water of Eluru town due to Lead and Nickel except at one location i.e.
