Nevada falls to 6-3 (1-1 MW) with Sunday’s 68-66 loss to Air Force (3-3, 1-1 MW)...the teams split the weekend series.

Nevada will return to action with the Dec. 31/Jan. 2 series at New Mexico.

The loss snaps Nevada’s 10-game winning streak against the Falcons, and the Pack now leads the all-time series, 14-3...head coach is now 18-2 all-time against the Falcons.

Nevada led Air Force, 33-24, at halftime, marking the eighth time in nine games this season the Pack has had the halftime edge...Nevada is 6-2 this season when leading at the break.

Nevada’s two 3-pointers were a season low...the previous low was four, against San Francisco (Dec. 2)...the Pack’s 8.3 percent (2-for-24) shooting from behind the arc was also a season low.

The Pack had its four-game streak of shooting at least 45 percent snapped, finishing Sunday’s game at 42.6 percent (23-for-54).

Nevada made 18 free throws for the second-straight game, finishing 18-for-26 at the line.

Air Force shot 48.9 percent (23-for-47) Sunday, becoming just the second team this season to shoot at least 48 percent against the Pack (Grand Canyon shot 57.7 percent Dec. 11).

Air Force’s 88.9 percent showing (16-for-18) from the free-throw line matched an opponent season high (William Jessup went 8-for-9 Dec. 7).

The Falcons’ A.J. Walker scored 27 points on 11-for-18 shooting Sunday...his 27 points were an opponent game high this season (three opposing players were previously tied for the best at 22, most recently San Diego’s Frankie Hughes, on Dec. 14).

Sophomore forward Zane Meeks scored in double digits for the second game in a row, and the fourth time this season, matching his career high with 18 points...Meeks matched his career highs with seven free throws made and 11 field-goal attempts.

Redshirt sophomore forward Warren Washington went 4-for-4 from the field Sunday, and for the series shot 90.9 percent (10-for-11) and averaged 12.0 points.

Redshirt junior guard Desmond Cambridge, Jr., had his streak of three-straight 20-point games snapped, finishing with nine Sunday.
