In fact, the East-West international transport corridor aims to realize an effective, competitive road-rail- sea transit system among Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan and China. Today, ten major ports in the Caspian Sea including Aktau, Turkmenbasi, Astrakhan and Baku offer significant opportunities not only for national economies, but also for region’s sustainable development. First of all, the company still sees its presence on Azerbaijani market and makes every effort to provide the medicines to our patients. To conclude These findings prove that compliance with standards has a positive impact on companies and macroeconomic situation in the country as during the crisis businesses have an oppor- tunity to increase their profit with a quite accessible solution as standardisation. Subsequently, this will improve the overall image of Azerbaijani market that can attract overseas inves- tors and foreign direct investment (FDI). Domestic companies will have an opportunity to compete with foreign firms in the mar- ket in terms of product quality, and barriers to trade will be lowered as the result of internationally accepted standardisa- tion and standards. That may lead to economies of scale, as the amount of produced goods will increase. The figure below compares the percentage of exporting companies that use and do not use standards.
