Assistance systems One of the most useful driver assistance systems Arteon offers, is the Adaptive Cruise Control and “Front Assist” City Emergency Braking (Standard on R-Line). You simply specify your top speed and the system makes sure you don’t exceed it.
Using the data provided, “Front Assist” detects critical situations, such as: if the distance between you and the vehicle ahead is too small and responds by either an audible and visual signal to brake or by providing a jolt to the brakes to indicate an impending collision.
Another great feature is the Head-up Display. It presents key driving information directly in your field of vision - information such as: speed, traffic signs, as well as warning and navigation messages are all pushed directly to the high-quality retractable display.
