AT met with the Chief Executive of Agency for Gender Equality within the Office of the Prime Minister, and agreed to cooperate on promotion of gender equality and empowerment of returnee, internally displaced women as well as Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community members in the sphere of socio-economic integration and public participation.

Through the project "Affordable and Quality Health Care" (AQH) funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by Swiss TPH, AT organized 5 separate information sessions on awareness-raising, sharing information, educating and providing counseling to the Serb, Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community groups, regarding the prevention and better control of chronic diseases of hypertension and diabetes in several villages of Novobërdë/, Ranilluk/, /Djakovica and Rahovec/ municipalities.

AT organized an awareness-raising meeting with the members of Egyptian community living in village Klinavc/Klinavac (Klinë/) municipality where human rights and their protection mechanisms were discussed. Participants in this meeting were representatives of Ombudsperson Institution, Agency for Free Legal Aid, UNHCR , Municipal Office for Community and Return and CRPK.

As a result of AT’s continues awareness-raising activities among returnees and IDPs about the benefits of the vaccine against virus COVID-19, two Roma returnees with chronic diseases in village Plemetin/a were vaccinated with the first dose against COVID-19. They feel well and are happy about their decision. Both of them have returned from North Macedonia and are now living in Plemetin/a village, Obiliq/Obilić municipality.
