ATHLETES AND PARENTS –

Commitment, Dedication, Hard Work and Discipline will allow us to be the best that we can possibly be. This means we have to play up to our capabilities and compete at a high level to give us a chance to reach our full potential and exceed all expectations. Commitment: In order for us to play as a team, we must practice as a team. All players are expected to be on time and at all practices. We will have games and/or practices scheduled every day except Sunday and during portions of Spring Break. The athletes should be ready to start practice at the time practice is called. This means that the athlete will need to arrive early enough to handle their business. Be committed to your team for it is committed to you. Dedication: The Anderson Baseball program will continue to be recognized for its winning tradition. We must hold ourselves accountable for the expectations of our community, school and teammates to carry on this winning tradition. I promise to put forth the effort needed to ensure that the Anderson Baseball program will be a State Championship contender. Hard work: Being a champion is not easy. Committing to hard work, dedication, making sacrifices to your team, coaches, parents, administrators, and the community will make the Anderson Baseball program successful. We will never get beat due to the lack of hard work. Discipline: Discipline will be the backbone of our program. We will hold each other accountable for our actions. Coaches, athletes and parents will work tougher to ensure that all players are treated equally regardless of talent or ability. Discipline must start from the top, which means coaches. I expect all athletes and coaches to respect and support one another. In order for the Anderson Baseball program to be successful, we must win in all areas such as classroom, practice, game, home and community. I hope that with the hard work and dedication from our coaching staff, our athletes and our community, this will be a great and successful season for all.
