SIENA (7-5, 1-3) • APRIL 16 GRIFFS RETURN HOME TO FACE SIENA 2008 SCHEDULE The Golden Griffins look to continue its winning ways with a conference contest against Siena. Canisius has won a school-record six-consecutive games and are off to its best start in February school history with a perfect 5-0 MAAC mark. Siena is 7-5 on the season but has struggled in 23 at No. 5 Princeton L, 6-13 MAAC play, winning just 1-of-4 conference games. March WE’RE GOING STREAKING! The rookie was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week after helping the 26 PROVIDENCE * 11 a.m. Griffs to their last two victories. May 4Jones tallied 11 points on seven goals and four assists during a 2-0 week for the Griffs. In the overtime victory over Robert Morris, Jones tallied an assist on the game-winning score 25 at MAAC Championship (at Siena) and set career highs with seven points, four goals and three assists. Against Wagner, the 27 at MAAC Championship (at Siena) freshman posted four points, recording a hat trick and one assist. 4 Jones currently leads the MAAC and ranks ninth in the country with 2.56 goals per game. HOME GAMES IN BOLD CAPS His mark is the third-highest in the NCAA among freshmen. * MAAC Game 4 The freshman also ranks third in the MAAC and 26th in the country with 3.22 points per game. Jones’ mark also ranks third in the country among freshmen. 4 Jones has scored at least one goal in all nine career games and has tallied a hat trick in six of his first nine collegiate games. Michael set career highs with four points and three goals in the victory.
