Introduction

ColStar Alliance appreciates your interest in belonging to our company.

Below you will find the regulations that apply to ColStar Alliance and its respective divisions, in accordance with the strategic address aimed at our pilots enjoying a flight operations simulation experience that is getting closer to reality.

We intend this material to be useful in the flight simulation exercise carried out by our pilots. In this regard, this Manual has been developed with the collaboration of all staff members and contains the general provisions applicable to members of our airline.

If you are close to the admission process, it is important that you know the content of this material, as you will be able to resolve many of your concerns, help you in all the steps to follow, and you will be able to know your rights and duties.

1. Airline

1.1. Who are we?

We are a virtual airline created in 2014, composed of 4 divisions, certified in the virtual network of IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organization) and identified with the code 18674 since 2015.

Created by Colombians, our Airline was born with the purpose of positioning and exceling in virtual aviation networks, as one of those that worldwide has the highest quality standards in the training of specialized virtual pilots with a high sense of excellence and belonging.

1.2. Mission

Train specialized virtual pilots with a great sense of responsibility, belonging, integrity and high level of technical and operational knowledge in real and virtual aviation.

1.3. Vision

To be the best virtual airline worldwide, achieving recognition for our high-quality standards in the specialized training of pilots in virtual aviation networks.

1.4. General Objective

Contribute to the specialized training of virtual pilots, encouraging their constant training and self-learning.

1.5. Specific Objectives

• Promote training spaces, advice and follow-up to the knowledge acquired by virtual pilots. • Provide guidance material for consultation as appropriate the profile of the virtual pilot (aeronautical or amateur personnel) in order to achieve optimal performance in operations. • Promote the proper behavior and use of the image of the Airline by the virtual pilot in the IVAO network. • Promote operational security at all stages of virtual flight. • Promote good interpersonal relationships between members of the Airline, in order to ensure a pleasant atmosphere.

We have a versatile fleet that allows us to acquire greater knowledge and performance and provides flexibility to enjoy flight experiences in different operations around the world.

2. Admission Process

2.1. Minimum Requirements

To participate in the admission process to our Airline, the applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be of legal age according to the country of origin. However, in cases where the applicant does not meet this requirement, the airline staff should be contacted prior to initiating the process, in order to review their particular case. • Be a pilot in the IVAO virtual network with a minimum of 100 flight hours and minimum FS2 range. • Not be a member of another airline or alliance as a pilot or staff. • Have no negative history directly or indirectly related to ColStar Alliance. • Not having been a member of our Airline at least one year before the date of application for admission. In this case, you may only have one additional opportunity to join the Airline. • Own one of the following flight simulators: Flight Simulator 2004, Flight Simulator X, Prepar3D, X-Plane. • Have a minimum of 3 hours each week to operate with the Airline, in its preferred division.

If admitted, the applicant declares that he knows and accepts that he will start operations from the first available rank of the Airline, that is, with instructional aircraft, except for the exceptions expressly provided in this Manual.

Likewise, with the submission of his application for admission, it is understood that the applicant expressly expresses his interest in participating in the trainings, courses, monitoring of theoretical and practical knowledge acquired and other activities promoted by the Airline.

The staff reserves the right of admission to the Airline.

2.3. Stages of the Admissions Process

2.3.1. Registration

If the applicant meets the minimum requirements set out in numeral 2.1 d ofthis Manual, he shallverify that the admissions process is open and to provide the registration form for his application for admission here.

It is emphasized that, by providing the registration form, the applicant expressly accepts that he/she knows and accepts the policy of processing the personal data provided.

2.3.2. Theoretical knowledge examination

At the end of the diligence of the registration form, the applicant may take the theoretical knowledge examination, which will be approved with a minimum rating of 75 points.

This stage corresponds to 70% of the total qualification awarded in the admissions process.

If this exam is not passed, the applicant will have a single opportunity to submit them again within 30 calendar days of the initial filing date.

2.3.3. Interview

The applicant will be scheduled for an interview with the Airline's Admissions and Training Directorate, provided that he has obtained a result equal to or greater than 75% in the theoretical knowledge exam.

The interview will be approved with a minimum score of 70 points.

The interview will be conducted by the Discord tool and the interviewer's contact will be informed to the applicant via WhatsApp or phone call.

The maximum period for conducting the interview is 48 hours counted from the scheduling made to the applicant, consequently, if it is not carried out within the indicated period, the applicant must again present the examination of theoretical knowledge.

This stage corresponds to 30% of the total qualification awarded in the admissions process.

2.3.4. Rating

According to the scores obtained by the applicant in the theoretical knowledge exam (70% of the total) and in the interview (30% of the total), an average will be made between them and it is concluded whether or not the applicant was selected to enter the Airline.

The minimum percentage to be admitted as a member of the Airline is 85%, averaged between the theoretical exam rating and the interview.

By being favored at the admission stage to the Airline, the new member declares that he/she knows and accepts the content of this Manual, the terms and conditions of use of the website and the processing of personal data, as well as the other applicable internal rules, regarding the conduct and use of material owned by the Airline.

2.3.5. Special Admission Provisions - Courtesy Guests

If you are a complimentary guest, to start the admission process you will only need to diligence the invitation code in cell "VIP" here. In this case, the applicant must take into account that he/she will have a maximum period of 24 hours in order to enter the platform.

The invitation code is provided only by a member of the Staff, at events where the Airline is interested in inviting an external member to be a member, in which case it must meet all the minimum requirements set out in numeral 2.1 of this Manual, with the exception of the presentation of the theoretical knowledge exam, from which it will be exempted. The invitation code will be sent to the guest via WhatsApp or call.

2.3.6. Special Admission Provisions - Aeronautical Staff

In view of the speciality of the profiles of applicants belonging to the aeronautical sector, the following special provisions shall apply:

Profile Condition Aviation Student (Colombian APA Starts operation on BE20 aircraft, 50 hours License, PPL FAA) are approved. Starts operation on SAAB 340 aircraft, 100 Real pilot hours are approved. Starts operation on category M aircraft, ATPL or PTL pilot 200 hours are approved.

These conditions apply as long as the applicant proves to have any of the profiles described herein.

3. General Rights and Duties

3.1. Rights

All members of the Airline, without exception, shall have the following rights:

• Consult the guidance material available on the Airline's platform for the development of its activities or to which it must be supplied by the instructional staff. • Request training sessions, mentoring or evaluation of theoretical or practical knowledge, aircraft enablement. • Make flights in any of the Airline's divisions. • Use the Airline's call sign to communicate with ATC dependencies against IVAO. • Use the textures owned by the Airline in front of IVAO. • Apply in the processes of selection of vacancies of aircraft instructor, provided that it meets the requirements for this purpose (availability of time, 100 hours flown and not transferred by approval and technical knowledge on the aircraft to be instructed). • Share on the official social networks of the Airline, information related to its own activities, using in all cases appropriate language. • Know and present your opinion on proposals involving decision-making of the Airline. • Submit suggestions to the Airline's procedures and services.

3.2. Duties

All members of the Airline, without exception, must perform the following duties:

• Provide certain, truthful and verifiable information to the Airline. • To know and strictly abide by the internal regulations of the Airline, as well as the policies required by IVAO.

• To know and fully comply with the guidelines proposed by the administration of the Airline. • Maintain cordial and respectful communication with the other members of the Airline, as well as with the people with which you must relate within the operating environment. • Refrain from any treatment that affects the morale of your peers. • Avoid misuse of bad vocabulary on social networks or aviation virtual networks. • Refrain from matoneo to internal or external members related to the Airline. • Refrain from verbally assaulting or threatening a member of the Airline. • Stay up-to-date with FAR publications and changes in aeronautical procedures. • Use ColStar Alliance-owned textures against IVAO solely on behalf of the Airline. • Attend any training assignment, for which it is required by the Staff. • Inform staff in case of conflicts with any member of the Airline, in order to proceed with the respective mediation. • Refrain from transferring, copying, sharing and/or reproducing to third parties information or material owned and used exclusively by members of the Airline. • Refrain from remaining inactive on flights for more than 15 calendar days. • Refrain from performing any kind of sabotage to the Airline. • Know and accept the content of the agreement to use the website and process personal data. • Meet the minimum required flight hours of 3 hours per week, regardless of whether it is the same flight or in several. • Properly diligence flight plans. • Make flights in real time and local time. • Refrain from flying with acceleration of more than 1x.

• Fly connected to the virtual network of your choice. • Comply with the regulations established when flying to other countries according to routes. • To attend to the orders and instructions of the active ATCs at the time of the flight. • Appropriately use aeronautical phraseology to perform operations, in Spanish or English. • In the week, each pilot must fly 3 regulatory hours, inactivity or non-compliance will result in their immediate dismissal from the airline • Pass the theoretical + practical BE58 exam to continue the career process in case it does not have approvals. • Use the aircraft and textures available on the Airline only for the corresponding purposes.

Instructional staff should specifically provide learning materials to virtual pilots, as well as follow up during the learning process and keep the documentation for recurring and instructional material up-to-date.

Failure to comply with any of these duties by the members of the Airline will result in the imposition of sanctions from verbal warning to expulsion of the Airline, and even the imposition of sanctions by IVAO, if they so consider.

3.3. GDPR regulation

ColStar Alliance has implemented the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) due to certification in the IVAO virtual network. All ColStar Alliance pilots, regardless of country or nationality, have the right to access and/or delete all data collected from them except for the history of suspensions and dismissals for admission issues. The data collected from ColStar Alliance members are: first names, surnames, date of birth, email, VID IVAO, CID VATSIM, IVAO Range, VATSIM Range, IP, event dates, flight activity and all information obtained through interaction with the ColStar Alliance platform. In accordance with this regulation and protecting the privacy of ColStar Alliance members regardless of flight network, country or nationality, the display of the names of the members has been restricted, consisting of this by the first name and first letter of the first surname, emails are not visible, and it is publicly the indications of each pilot for each virtual network.

4. Operations Regulations

4.1. Staff

Staff must be made up of suitable staff with a high level of responsibility, belonging, commitment, leadership and aeronautical knowledge.

Each staff member has a duty to contribute to the fulfillment of the Airline's mission, vision and objectives, as well as to ensure impartiality in decision-making that impacts its structure or functioning and promotes transparency in admission processes.

The CEO and Director of Admissions and Training shall keep up-to-date the airline's information reported to IVAO and the Airline's flight system and will be responsible for reviewing applications for upgrades and approval of manual flight reports.

It is the duty of all Staff staff to provide software technical support to members of the Airline, provided that this is possible, and they will also be prohibited from participating as a Staff or Developer of any type of production of another Airline, subject to being expelled.

4.2. Virtual Pilots

4.2.1. Use of call sign and texture

Each member of the Airline shall make use of the call sign corresponding to the division in which he/she is operating, in order to achieve effective recognition of the flight in the system.

Likewise, each member of the Airline must have unloaded the corresponding texture for its respective use according to the division with which it is operating and in case of no material available, must use the texture of the manufacturer in the simulator and in the IVAP or SQUAWKBOX.

4.2.2. Ranks and Promotions

The following are the minimum ranks and requirements established by the Airline Staff in any of the divisions:

The system is fully automated, therefore, by meeting experience hours and ratings, if required, it will generate an automatic upgrade of rank and certification of aircraft.

4.2.3. Enablement system (type rating)

The Airline has a ratings system for each type of aircraft.

To obtain such qualifications, the virtual pilot must request training from the Director of Training and demonstrate operational experience on the aircraft that has been operating at the date on which he requests the training.

For the purposes of pre-enablement preparation and practice, the Airline has provided a uniquely owned platform designed where the virtual pilot can access to consult extracurricular material.

4.2.4. Recurring system

The virtual pilot must demonstrate its pro-efficiency in at least one of the ratings obtained. Consequently, recurring exercises will be carried out every 180 calendar days starting the calculation from the date on which a particular rating was obtained and the system will randomly assign the aircraft on which it must demonstrate its pro-efficiency.

4.2.5. Flight Reporting System

The virtual pilot must report flights on the flight network used.

4.2.6. Holiday Reporting System

The virtual pilot may request a holiday period for the term of 30 calendar days, which may be extended maximum for an equal period, provided that the member requests the extension. If you do not request it, the system will automatically change its status to inactive.

4.2.7. Inactivity

Inactive status will be assigned in the system, when the virtual pilot remains for more than 15 calendar days without flying with the Airline, as a result, if inactivity persists for an additional 7 days, the pilot will be removed from the system and expelled from the Airline.

4.2.8. Pilot Shop

ColStar Alliance has a store where you can make use of the virtual money generated by flights and incentives made in the system. This store has several varied applications for the different simulators in which the virtual pilot will be able to buy such items. The items of the store are for EXCLUSIVE USE AND PERSONAL USE of the airline's pilots, they may not be transferred, sold or distributed to third parties that are not part of it, under penalty of legal action by the airline towards the pilot for infringing on one of the items in numeral 5 of this document.

5. Sanctions

Without prejudice to the list of sanctions referred to herein, if deemed necessary the Staff may impose sanctions that are not expressly set out in this separate from the Manual:

In case of non-compliance or non-compliance with the sanctions applied by the Staff or the IVAO network, the virtual pilot will be expelled from the Airline. Accordingly and the events in which it applies, the Staff may make use of any legal action to which it takes place.

Finally, it should be noted that, without prejudice to the general and mandatory provisions laid down in this manual, there are special and additional parameters that must be taken care of in order to ensure the proper functioning of each of the divisions belonging to the Airline, which are defined in the directives applicable to them. Consequently, to know its contents they must be requested from each division as appropriate.
