A mobile Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) is deployed to Manchester Grammar School and Withington Girls School. • Can you also confirm whether the CCTV Car(s) are in use at the following schools as well. William Hulme Whalley Range High School Saint James Church of England School Wilbraham Primary School I can confirm that CCTV Cars are deployed to Whalley Range High School. • Can you document the revenue generated by the CCTV car from the period of 1st of October 2014 to 18th of May 2015. I can confirm that the total amount received from Penalty Charge Notices issued at schools by the CCTV cars, between 1 October 2014 and 18 May 2015, was £6,205. • Can you document what percentage of the revenue generated is put back into public road maintenance or other road infrastructure improvements? Any surplus from parking charges and fines is spent in accordance with Section 55 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 and amended by Section 95 of the Traffic Management Act 2004. This legislation defines that any surplus income after meeting operational costs is spent on parking facilities. If additional or enhanced parking facilities are not required, then any surplus can be used for the purpose of highway and environmental improvements. If you are not satisfied with this response you may ask for an internal review.
