Joel has won several screenwriting awards including a Finalist Award at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France (2016) for his screenplay, “Word Games”. He also won a Semi Finalist Award for his most recent script, “The Waiting Room” at the Big Apple Film Festival (N.Y.).
