WORDS OF GRATITUDE FROM REV. JP NARICHETTI, THE JUBILARIAN

As I come up to thank you all, the words of the psalmist sound very true in my life. "If I count the goodness of the God, they would be more than the grains of sand on the seashore."

I express my heartfelt gratitude to God who has blessed me with the gift of life, the grace of my Baptismal call and to my vocation to the Catholic Priesthood. It is His love, strength and support that enables me to see this day, to spell out my humble gratitude, for having sustained me for the past 25 years of total commitment to Him and his people.

My hearts melts with gratitude to all of you. My dear parents lived and formed me in the values, which has become our family heritage, to be close to God, available to others, simple, loving, always trusting in the providence of God and drawn towards the poor and needy. I developed during the course of my faith journey the core of our spirituality which is to live for God alone like Jesus Mary and Joseph, who loved, sought and desired nothing but God alone.

I take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed in the form of prayers, presence, greetings and lovely gifts on this auspicious occasion of my 25th anniversary of priesthood. You are my family and I see in you my parents, brothers and sisters and it is faith in Christ that connects us together as one spiritual family of God. I am so honored and humbled to be here and serving this wonderful, loving and spiritual family of St. Michael's.

My special thanks go to Fr. Ed, the Pastor, the Rev. , the Church and the school staff, loving students and a prayerful and generous spiritual community of St. Michael's. You are a big part in my life and I had to thank so many of you for your sincere prayers, gifts and greetings. I thank Fr. Ed who is behind this great opportunity to have this big and loving reception and the great food prepared and served by our Filipino community. A big thank you to all of you!

I sincerely acknowledge all those humble and sincere people who generously bought for me the clergy vestments on this occasion of my jubilee. Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness and generous gesture.

Last, but not the least in anyway, I thank all those people who directly or indirectly offered a prayerful support in one way or another and shared their might and made the day a meaningful and memorable one.

Thank you Fr. Ed, for organizing everything so well with your loving heart and generous spirit to make this day a great day for the family of St. Michael's.

Thanks to all my friends, for the joy you give me by your participation and especially my loving school and CCD students for your loving prayers and wonderful and creative spiritual bouquets on this occasion.

A big thank you, one and all! May God bless you!

Time’s running out. If you want to be a sponsor of Tastes at Pawleys and receive free admission tickets, you need to return your sponsor card by Monday, April 17, so we’ll have time to mail the tickets to you. We’re selling admission tickets after each Mass next weekend and will have sponsor cards available at the sales table. Your sponsorships help us feed the hungry in our community, a population which increases each year, through Father Pat’s Lunch Kitchen. Tastes at Pawleys will be taking place on Sunday, April 30 from 4 -7 p.m. Did we mention there will be BBQ, pub burger sliders, lobster bisque, buttermilk fried chicken, she crab soup, cholate and much more! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Linda Cherry at (843) 237 -3428.
