GIRLS’ DRESS CODE

Dress FORMAL with an open back may not dip lower than the natural waist line. Modest neck and hemlines that will still be No fully exposed midriffs. Select 2-pieces are deemed appropriate while dancing. allowed: see webpage for examples.

Dresses/slits may not be shorter than mid-thigh If the dress becomes inappropriate while when arms are raised. dancing, you may be asked to leave.

Anyone with 15 or more unexcused absences should see their dean to determine if they are eligible to attend Prom. Suspended students may not attend any school function, including prom. Students must have a school ID to be admitted.

School administrators will rule on the appropriateness of dress. If you push the limits of the dress code, you risk being turned away from the dance.

Students may purchase a ticket for a guest after all guest requirements are met and GUEST FORM is approved. Guests must present a picture ID Age limit is 20 yrs old Students and guests are expected to follow all SJCSD rules
