EVENT R2901-2000007004 PAT “You Are Here” (URH) Interpretive Display Sign Specifications

DELIVERY: Various quantities and locations, see lines for information

DELIVERY DATE: On or before July 14, 2017

There are 11 different sign designs shipping to 10 different locations. See details below for sign size, quantity, print specification and ship to location.

 Substrate: Dibond.

 Thickness: 1/8”.

 Overcoat: Must have a protective overcoat (such as a laminate) that is UV protecting and resistant to scratches and abrasions.

 Finish: Matte finish for outdoors.

 Color: Full color.

 Printing: Varies; one-sided, two-sided, same artwork, different artwork; (see spec details).

 Warranty: Minimum 5 years for fading, cracking, peeling and blistering.

 Graphics: High-res PDF file provided by DNR. Graphic files will be sent to vendor by mid-June.

 Proofs: One 8x10 color physical sample. Electronic PDF layout proof of each sign design (11 total).

 Shipping: FOB Destination; unit price must include all shipping and handling charges, no additional charges will be allowed to be added to the invoice.

If the bidder has not done business with the DNR for this type of product before, the low bidder may be asked to provide a sample of work free of charge to the DNR prior to contract award. If the sample does not meet the DNR’s specifications or approval, the bid may be rejected. All costs for providing the DNR with the sample and shipping to the DNR is born of the responder (bidder). If requested, the DNR will pay for shipping of the sample to be sent back to the bidder. The sample must be shipped within seven (7) business days after the request is received from the DNR. If the bidder cannot meet this timeframe, the bid may be rejected.

The DNR will be the determining factor if bidder meets specifications. The DNR has the right to reject any product that is deemed substandard in quality, workmanship or craftsmanship.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE MAY BE ATTACHMENTS TO THIS EVENT. THE VENDOR IS RESPONSIBLE TO REVIEW AND COMPLY WITH ALL REQUESTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED IN THIS EVENT.

UNIT PRICE MUST INCLUDE ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROJECT. WHICH INCLUDE ITEMS SUCH AS SHIPPING, MATERIALS, MANUAL AND WARRANTY.

THE DNR MUST BE NOTIFIED IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES TO THE DELIVERY SCHEDULE.

IF ANY CHANGES/MODIFICATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED BY THE VENDOR DURING THE FABRICATION PROCESS, THE DNR MUST BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY. THE DNR WILL REVIEW AND AUTHORIZE OR DECLINE ANY SUGGESTED CHANGES.

THE DNR WILL BE THE DETERMINING FACTOR IF THE VENDOR MEETS SPECIFICATIONS.

ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE DIRECTED TO THE BUYER LISTED ON THIS EVENT.

THE CONTRACT VENDOR SHALL BE THE SINGLE CONTACT THROUGH WHICH CUSTOMERS WILL ARRANGE WARRANTY WORK THAT IS STILL COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

THE DNR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT IF IT’S NOT CONSTRUCTED TO THESE SPECIFICATIONS OR IF THE PRODUCT IS SUBSTANDARD IN REGARDS TO QUALITY, WORKMANSHIP, OR CRAFTSMANSHIP.

AWARD--ITEM, GROUP, TOTAL. RESPONSES THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED NONRESPONSIVE AND WILL BE REJECTED. THE AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE VENDOR MEETING THE SPECIFICATIONS AND ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THE STATE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD ITEMS SEPARATELY, BY GROUPING ITEMS, OR BY TOTAL, WHICHEVER IS DEEMED MOST ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE STATE. THE RESPONDER MAY QUOTE "ALL OR NONE," BUT UNIT PRICES FOR EACH ITEM MUST BE SHOWN. THE RESPONDER MUST SPECIFY IF QUOTING "ALL OR NONE.”

DNR WILL ONLY ISSUE ONE PURCHASE ORDER PER VENDOR. PAYMENT WILL BE MADE AFTER ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND APPROVED. NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS.
