  • BISPING: Barnett Needs to Push the Pace Vs. Nelson
FS1 UFC TONIGHT Show Quotes – 9/23/15 BISPING: Barnett Needs To Push The Pace Vs. Nelson Florian: “Uriah Hall Is Too Dangerous To Just Stand and Trade With” LOS ANGELES – UFC TONIGHT host Kenny Florian and guest host Michael Bisping break down the upcoming FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BARNETT VS. NELSON. Karyn Bryant and Ariel Helwani add reports. UFC TONIGHT guest host Michael Bisping on how Josh Barnett can beat Roy Nelson: “Josh needs to not get hit by the right hand of Roy. He needs to push the pace of the fight, move forward, and push Roy up against fence and brutalize him with knees and elbows like he did with Frank Mir. Most of his finishes came from the clinch position. He finishes fights against the fence. He did that against Frank Mir.” UFC TONIGHT host Kenny Florian on Barnett avoiding Nelson’s knock out power: “Josh doesn’t want to be on the outside where Roy’s right hand can get him. He wants to be on the inside. He’s been busy on the submission circuit. He’s dangerous on the mat and that’s where he wants to get Roy.” Bisping on how Nelson should fight Barnett: “What Roy can’t get is predictable. If he just tries to throw the big right hand, Barnett is going to see it coming. Roy has to mix up his striking. I’m not sure he’s going to go for takedowns. But he has to mix his striking. His right hand and left hooks, to keep Josh at bay.” Florian on Nelson mixing up his strikes: “The knock on Nelson is his lack of evolution.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 TOP-RANKED HEAVYWEIGHTS BATTLE AT FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BARNETT VS. NELSON ON SATURDAY NIGHT No. 8 Ranked Middleweight Michael Bisping and Brian Stann Serve as Analysts LOS ANGELES – UFC heavyweights take center stage at FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT live on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday, Sept. 26 (10:00 PM ET) when perennial contender and current No. 11 Roy “Big Country” Nelson (21-11) looks for another big finish against former UFC heavyweight champion and current No. 8 Josh “The Warmaster” Barnett (33-7). With his past 10 wins coming by knockout, THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER season 10 winner Nelson has dynamite in his fists. When he meets Barnett, though, he squares off against a motivated contender eager to impress in his first fight back in Japan in more than five years. “These are two very technical heavyweights,” says FOX UFC analyst Brian Stann. “Roy Nelson has massive power in his hands, but people forget he’s also a black belt in jiu-jitsu. Barnett is also a black belt and is known for his amazing grappling. This is going to be a very big and heavy chess match. They both go into fights to please the fans and put on a performance.” Also featured on the main card is an exciting middleweight battle between No. 6 ranked Gegard Mousasi (37-5-2) vs. THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER season 17 finalist Uriah Hall (12-5). Top- ranked flyweights No. 7 Kyoji Horiguchi (15-1) and No. 13 Chico Camus (14-6, 1NC) look to move up the standings, while No.

Pass Labs XP-30 Preamplifier and X350.8 Stereo Power Amplifier "When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours. That's relativity." - Albert Einstein I have auditioned, reviewed, and owned several products from Pass Labs over the years and this quote from Mr. Einstein strikes a definite cord relative to other experiences. Needless to say, I am frustrated more and more often these days with many of the new components from other manufacturers that come through the front door for review. The word "relative" is important. These encounters can be exasperating even for those designs that check off all the audiophile boxes. It can sometimes be hard to put my finger on the issue, but the overall feeling is very clear as stated above. I frequently fail to connect emotionally or intellectually, yet I know that there is no reason to panic. There are plenty of other exceptional options out there that continue to delight. For one, I can always turn to the creativity and innovation of Nelson Pass to bring me back to my senses and my love of music. This review is just another example of his genius and that of the entire Pass Labs team. Allow me to pivot to some backstory that helped to drive this review forward. For those readers who have followed my series on integrated amplifiers, you know that I am a big believer in the whole concept—fewer boxes, fewer cables, fewer resonance control devices and one vision for sound and voicing from one designer.

Introduction The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) started in 1993 as a mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament on pay‐per‐view to determine the world’s greatest martial arts style. Its main draw was its lack of rules. Weight classes did not exist and rounds continued until one of the competitors got knocked out or submitted to his opponent. Although the UFC initially achieved underground success, it was regarded more as a spectacle than a sport and never attained mainstream popularity. The perceived brutality of the event led to political scrutiny and pressure. Attacks from critics caused the UFC to establish a set of unified rules with greater emphasis placed on the safety. The UFC also successfully petitioned to become sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. However, these changes occurred too late to have an impact and by 2001, the parent organization of the UFC was on the verge of bankruptcy. The brand was sold to Zuffa LLC, marking the beginning of the UFC’s dramatic rise in popularity. Over the next eight years, the UFC evolved from its underground roots into the premier organization of a rapidly growing sport.

  • A World Title Shot Is on the Line As Robbie Lawler Battles Matt Brown July 26 in San Jose
A WORLD TITLE SHOT IS ON THE LINE AS ROBBIE LAWLER BATTLES MATT BROWN JULY 26 IN SAN JOSE Las Vegas, Nevada – UFC® returns to SAP Center at San Jose with a title elimination match pitting two knockout artists against one another as No. 1-ranked Robbie Lawler will take on No. 5-ranked Matt Brown with the winner earning a shot at champion Johny Hendricks. Additionally, the card will feature several Bay Area-based fighters in Josh Thomson, Noad Lahat and Kyle Kingsbury. Coming off an impressive third-round finish over an always game Jake Ellenberger, Lawler (23-10, 1 NC, fighting out of Coconut Creek, Fla.) will take on the surging Brown (21-11, fighting out of Columbus, Ohio) in hopes of securing a second crack at UFC gold. Brown, who has put together one of the most impressive runs in mixed martial arts today, currently rides a seven-fight win streak, and will be looking to lock down a title shot he feels is long overdue. On July 26 at SAP Center, two of the best welterweights in the world will put it all on the line in a battle for the top contender position. In addition, light heavyweight (No. 5) Anthony Johnson (17-4, fighting out of Boca Raton, Fla.) is back in the Octagon® after an impressive decision victory over Phil Davis in his return to the UFC earlier this year. The hard-hitting “Rumble” will take on Brazilian star Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (21-5, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) as he primes himself for title contention.
