We served fried chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, veggies and dip, and cookies for dessert. Each child chose a part, or several parts, in the variety show, which included singing a song, a Jonah and the Whale skit, playing band instruments, playing handbells, and presenting memory verses they had learned throughout the year. We concluded the evening with a slide show of Hero’s Club scenes and activities over the past two years. Thank you to everyone who helped and attended! We look forward to more activities like this! The last Hero’s Club for this school year is Monday, June 4, when we will have an ice cream sundae party and water fun! Look for 2012-2013 Hero’s Club reg - istration forms in August.
