he 2nd DENR Research Sector Management Conference cum Symposium was held at the Cha- li Beach Resort and Conference Center, Cugman,T Cagayan de Oro City on 09-13 December 2008 with the theme “Research, Development and Extension (RDE) as Participants of the 2nd DENR Research Sector Management Building Block in Addressing Climate Change”. PCARRD funded project which was implemented in July 2007 aims to assess the general conditions of Barangays Kinabuhayan in and TaytayA in Laguna to enhance ecotourism and formulate an ecotourism management plan of MBSCPL. The project has five components namely: vulnerability and land-use assessment, carrying capacity determination, social and migration pattern, identification and assessment of existing and potential ecotourism products, and policy review, analysis and recommendations, and IEC activities.
