MEDIA RELEASE Singaporeans Invited to Share Their Views and Feedback on National Day Rally 2019 16 August 2019 – Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver the National Day Rally (NDR) speech on 18 August 2019 (Sunday) at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central. 2 As part of the Government’s continuous efforts to engage citizens and seek their feedback on national policies, REACH is inviting Singaporeans to share their views and feedback on the speech during the REACH NDR 2019 Feedback Exercise, which will run from 18 August (Sunday) until 1 September 2019 (Sunday). 3 As part of the NDR 2019 Feedback Exercise, Singaporeans can share with us their feedback on NDR 2019 through the following channels: NDR 2019 Microsite https://www.reach.gov.sg/ndr2019 Facebook http://www.facebook.com/REACHSingapore The NDR speech will also be live-streamed on the REACH Facebook page on 18 August 2019 (Sunday). Twitter Follow REACH’s account for the latest updates and share your feedback at http://twitter.com/reach_singapore. The dialogue is co-organised by REACH and Saturday, 3pm Lianhe Zaobao (LHZB). Members of public looking forward to connect with us at our Listening Points can find the venues, dates and timings of the Listening Points at the microsite https://www.reach.gov.sg/ndr2019. 5 REACH Online This online interactive poll will be launched on 18 August Listening Point 2019, and made available until 1 September 2019 (Sunday) on REACH’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/REACHSingapore) and website (http://www.reach.gov.sg). 6 WhatsApp chat groups Members of public may join REACH’s WhatsApp chat groups – moderated by REACH – to engage in discussions related to NDR 2019 by signing up via https://www.reach.gov.sg/participate/reach-whatsapp- group-chat. 5 All feedback shared with REACH will be processed and shared with the relevant Government ministries and agencies.
