LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE

PRODUCTIVITY HAS A NEW LOOK AND A NEW IMAGE

he presentation of our new logo Tand our new tagline is an impor- tant moment in Laverda’s history and is characterized by four key elements: the deep-rooted partnership with its customers, the strength of the AGCO Corporation group, the specializa- tion that makes Laverda one of the leading manufacturers of combine harvesters, and the innovation ex- pressed by a range that is constantly evolving.

In order to summarize this in a new corporate image, we have chosen a direct and clear path. A symbol, con- sisting of only two elements, that form the shape of a large L and at the same time evoke the image of a cutting hea- der. Two colors, energetic red symboli- zing the combine at work and rigorous black, expressing technical innovation and business planning. Dynamism and rigor are in the design of the new logo Laverda, along with a “muscular” italic font that evokes strength and depen- dability of machines built to last. hen choosing a combine harve- Wster what is important for you? Our experience indicates two specific values: the reliability of the machine and its ability to produce, in turn contri- buting to profitability. With this in mind, the new company tagline was born: “Our Reliability, Your Productivity,” which directly expresses Laverda’s mission: to be a specialized and tru- sted point of reference for the needs of modern that wants to grow and generate income with the ut- most respect of the environment.

Laverda, with 140 years of history, has been identified by AGCO, for its expertise in harvesting machines, as an integral part of its overall strategy to offer high–tech solutions for pro- fessional farmers feeding the world. AGCO, present in over 140 countries in the world, has chosen the innovati- ve centre of Breganze, with the latest equipment and advanced production lines, as the official production site for all combine harvesters for the EAME markets.

WE PROVIDE AGRICULTURE WITH THE TOOLS TO COMPETE he only Italian company to pro- Tduce combine harvesters, Laver- da founded by Pietro Laverda in 1873, was transformed from a artisan workshop into an industry that rose to the top of its sector by the 1930’s. The reliability of Laverda’s machines has always been accompanied by technological research and design, which has produced innovations that have changed agricultural mechani- zation history. For example, in 1956, Laverda presented the M60, the first self-propelled Italian combine, while in 1971, the M100 AL the first hillside combine, and the first in a long line of successful hillside combines. Laverda’s reputation attracted the at- tention of major international groups, who saw Laverda as a perfect com- pany in their strategic plan for global development. In 2000, the Argo Indu-

strial Group acquired Laverda and re- launched its historic trademark on the market with a new range of products. In 2007, Argo created a 50% joint venture of Laverda with the American AGCO Corporation, one of the lea- ding manufacturers and distributors of in the world. In 2011, AGCO completed the acqui- sition of Laverda and concentrated their entire European production of combine harvesters at the Breganze factory, making Laverda a strategic lo- cation for AGCO’s EAME harvesting activities. ur practical know-how and tech- Onological culture are our greatest assets. High-tech, environmentally conscious machines with amazing capability, are the result of an integration of the R&D of AGCO and Laverda through a global network and online platform allowing designers to share innovative ideas and to discuss the various sta- ges of project development.

Equipped with a ISO 9001 certified quality control system, the entire production cycle is continuously mo- nitored and every combine that leaves the assembly line is tested ensuring the utmost precision of our products. However Laverda’s true calibre, lies in the quality that goes into every- thing we do.

All of our client services hold great im- portance, from our after-sales techni- cal assistance to our spare parts servi- ce, Laverda knows how to care for its customers.

Laverda’s long tradition shows that we are always ready for new challenges, focusing on customer satisfaction, the innovation and quality of our products, and the efficient services we provide.

A RED SPOT IN A SEA OF GRAIN n 1956 Laverda changed Italian Ihistory, presenting the first Italian- made mass-produced self-propelled combine harvester, also in a ver- sion equipped with tracks. Rice models have always been an important part of the Laverda range, with dedicated so- lutions to meet quality rice-cultivation requirements even in countries where the climate allows more than 2 har- vests per year.

In the mechanized harvesting of maize, in addition to the product’s moi- M200 sture control for optimum threshing, there is also the need for a special tre- atment to ensure the integrity of the grain. Therefore, apart from the uni- versal concave, suitable for those who various products, Laverda of- fers a maize-specific concave, ideal for those who only cultivate maize and require maximum performance. Apart from the concave, the crop elevators and the sieves specifically designed for maize, which, also contribute to make the most out of Laverda machi- nes. Maize is a good example of adapta- bility to the most varied conditions, meaning its ability to be harvested on different types of land, this is where the versatility of Laverda combines is underlined, able to take on all types of terrain in any condition. umbers count. In fact, we conti- Nnually rely on the numbers that on the job have special meaning. Time, terrain, and quantities expressed in numbers translate, in fact, into the va- lue of our work.

Laverda’s Hillside AL combine se- ries is expressed with three numbers in particular, corresponding to the ex- treme gradients that they are able to conquer: transversal slopes of up to 40%, longitudinal uphill gradients of up to 30% and downhill gradients of up to 10%.

Values that allow you to bring the pro- fitability of mechanized agriculture to various steep but fertile areas, in Italy and throughout Europe.

The LC and LCI (Integral) models are characterized by an exclusive and pa- tented, lateral action levelling sy- stem. This enables a reliable and pre- cise transverse levelling of up to 20%, making it possible to work well on hillsides, assuring high performan- ce, total comfort and maximum safety. The levelling system also allows you to reduce the external dimensions of the machine, ideal for road travel even on narrow roadways.

Numbers count for us, especially da- tes: in 1971 Laverda created the first hillside combine harvester in the world, equipped with a complete levelling sy- stem, proving our experience in the development of this technology.
