The Monastery of Paço de Sousa is a milestone of Romanesque architecture closely connected with one of the most powerful fa- milies in Portuguese History, in the Middle Age. Along the route, you can find historic buildings of this era. Romanesque style emerged in the late 10th century as a new form of architecture.
