OF CHARLOTTE HIGH SCHOOL ROCHESTER, NEW YORK THE 1944 WI TAN * Under the flags of country and school, we have striven in the past to become useful and deserving citizens of the United States. In the post-war world, we must not only try for these goals, but also become worth-while citizens of the world. The post-war era will not be an easy one. There will be far-reaching changes, ensuing confusion. Yet, more than ever before, opportunities to promote tolerance, the dignity of the individual, the culture of a pro gressive and liberal civilization will be present. So, we move forward head-high, with the ardent hope thai our post-war world will be truly enveloped in a new "Golden Age."
