Sweet Auburn Curb Market to Open on Sundays, Starting Sept 13 The market at 209 Edgewood Ave SE, , GA will be open 7 days a week

ATLANTA (August 17, 2015) – Due to the growing success of the , the Municipal Market, also known as the Curb Market, will now open its doors to the public on Sunday afternoons. The market is located at 209 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA, 30303, and current hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Sunday hours will be 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Streetcar passengers get off directly in front of the main entry on Edgewood Ave. This will be the first time since the Municipal Market opened in May of 1924 that it has offered Sunday hours. After-church crowds, residents, students and visitors alike will be able to take advantage of the selection of eateries for brunch, lunch or to grab a variety of treats to take home. Along with an assortment of exceptional restaurants, Sweet Auburn Bakery, a full service bakery and coffee shop, Miss D’s New Orleans Pralines and Popcorn, and SnoBayou Handcrafted Snoballs will be on hand to offer a treat to take home or to linger over with a cup of Café Campesino coffee. Entertainment will be part of the Sunday experience. In addition to music, the market will offer football on their big screen in the food court, open mic, and a variety of local performers for your enjoyment. The number of visitors, especially on Saturdays coming in from the Streetcar has made a tremendous impact on the small businesses inside the market.
