Alabama Shakes Don' T Wanna Fight Alabama shakes don' t wanna fight Continue This year's Grammys were pretty boring. I didn't actually watch it in one piece, but I saw Lady Gaga's tribute to David Bowie - which, apart from a few dancers, was pretty good. (If someone drank straight from the Bowie Fountain, which was Lady Gaga) Record of the Year was a fun and super dancing Uptown Funk. Taylor Swiftzzzzz took the best album of the year with her 1989 album, which I only know about Bad Blood. The song of the year (still not sure what the category difference between recording and music) was Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. Weekend was a favorite of modern urban (Never understood this category). Kendrick Lamar swept the Rap category and took a bunch of Grammys home. Even Justin Bieber won one and didn't even go with Sorry, he went with Where's Now along with DJs Skrillex and Diplo (dance category). In the Rock category, Alabama Shakes won best performance and best music with Don't Want to Fight; and in the category Alternative picked up the best album with great Sound and Color, the band's second album. I've known The Alabama Shakes since 2013 when they came to Lollapalooza and I liked their show too much (which I saw on TV). Their first album Boys and Girls and a song I like a lot and was their first hit - Hold On, it also has on your way and be mine. Their sound is raw rock with blues and the voice of Brittany Howard ripped (she screams great), half Janis Joplin. For some time has been with Hold On in the list of songs for analysis, but let's know that I do not want to fight that gave the band two Grammys. This song has a delicious rhythm, it's blues with American funk, soul music. It's a song about this state of war that we live today, not only war is really in some places, but also differences of opinion, the struggle for survival, or as the singer of the band said: Some kill each other because of ridiculous assumptions. My lines, your lines don't cross borders What do you like, what do I like Why can't we both be right? Attack, defending until there is nothing left to win your pride, my pride Do not waste your time Music starts with guitar, then drums, bass and with 40 seconds of music Brittany gives a cry that begins contained, triple, but opens to start singing the lyrics of the song. It's like screaming: enough! So we have two lines, mine, if its, and we do not have to cross them (one of the correct ends where the other begins) Each in their square, and why not everyone can be right? Let's agree to disagree. Attack, defense, polarization, struggle, as long as there is nothing worth winning. Everyone is proud, so don't waste me time. #FicaDica for people who like to argue in feissy. I don't want to fight anymore. And it really tires of all this endless debate, this war for things poderiam ser resolvidas com bom senso. Take out of my hand Put in my hands the fruits of all my grief Lying is not easy when everything is nice, I can not get any relief Ent'o passo das minhas m'os para like suas o fruto de toda minha aflingnao. Living is not a fun Constant devotion to Water Conservation and Power on There's No Money Left Why I Can't Breathe I'm Going to Work Myself Till The Death of Viver n'o and Divertido. Dedica'o constante cansa. Uma estrofe com o Kopo Meio Vazio. Essa parte da m'sica et sobre peleja para sobreviver com um salario que neo chega no fim do m's, que s s s's s s'sico e pessoa se sente sufocada. Wu trabalhar ate Morrer. I don't want to fight E por isso ela n'o quer brigar mais. Chega de Resistance e conflito. Enough. Kansu. Mas Alabama Shakes n-o-cans de tocar-n-o please. Tinha vontade de ver essa banda ao vivo e como Brittany e cia v'o se apresentar no Circo Vo tereadori chance. Alabama Shakes, nos vemos no Rio. This article is about the song Alabama Shakes. The band first performed the song live on February 28, 2015 on Saturday Night Live. The song won two awards at the 58th Grammy Awards on February 15, 2016. The critical reception of the song received positive reviews from critics. Rolling Stone's John Blistein called the song a piece, funky soul cut as well as a knockout punch. The same magazine put Don't Want to Fight at number 19 on its annual end-of-year list to find the best songs of 2015. NPR's Ann Powers called the song a deep soul track and went on to say that the song is just a taste of what the band has to offer on the new album. In December 2015, the song received two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, winning both in February 2016. This made Shakes the first band with a vocalist, winning the award. • SHAKE YOUR FAITH Diamond Day Records Is Very Excited to Announce the Release of the Steepwater Band’S 6Th Full-Length Studio Album SHAKE YOUR FAITH
THE STEEPWATER BAND : SHAKE YOUR FAITH Diamond Day Records is very excited to announce the release of The Steepwater Band’s 6th full-length studio album SHAKE YOUR FAITH. The LP features 11 brand new TSB tracks, and is slated for release on Friday, April 1st via Double 180 Gram Vinyl, Compact Disc and Digital Download. The album was recorded last winter at Crushtone Studios, in the shadows of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland, Ohio. Shake Your Faith was produced by the band along with seasoned rock studio veteran Jim Wirt, who has also worked with the likes of Fiona Apple, Incubus and the Buffalo Killers. As with most TSB albums, the sound and songwriting on Shake Your Faith has grown and expanded, yet retained the true nature of the band. It’s the first TSB studio record in over 4 years and the first to include “new” guitarist Eric Saylors. "SHAKE YOUR FAITH is a stomping, seductive cry that real rock 'n' roll is alive and well in a band with the swagger, justified confidence, and badass tunes of a modern classic, a collection with all the heart and hips of 70s Stones and serious competition to contemporaries like The Black Keys, Ben Harper, and Jack White." - Dennis Cook {Dirty Impound} • Their song “Dance Me a Number” from Revelation Sunday receives nearly 10,000 spins on Pandora daily, on such channels as The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, and more. • Their 2010 single The Stars Look Good Tonight reached # 109 on the Triple A radio charts and it was featured during the June 29, 2010, WGN-TV (nationally syndicated) broadcast of the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball game.
