It seems a mere matter of minutes since I was invested as President by John Loynton last December. I have been very privileged to have been invited to serve as President and I have taken as full a part as my circumstances would The President allow. In a few short weeks, I will be handing over the Presidential ‘gong’ to Johnny Dugdale. I am personally delighted that he will be taking the job. He is a hard-working and valuable member of the committee. I must pay tribute to the OSA Committee. I have known members of your Committee for many years, but I had not, hitherto, appreciated the exceptional commitment and talent that goes into the running of the Association. There have been some challenges this year and many people have worked very hard to meet those challenges. It is, perhaps, unfair to single out individuals, as all make great contributions. I must, however, mention those with whom I have had the greatest interaction.

  • Cold Feet 8 Wylie ITV Interviews 2
SERIES 8 PRESS PACK Series 8 Award winning comedy drama COLD FEET returns for an eighth series; Adam (James Nesbitt) is back on the singles market, but for once in his life he’s not finding any takers – has he finally lost his mojo? Pete (John Thomson) on the other hand appears to have found his and, having recently renewed their wedding vows, some alfresco action is the icing on Pete and Jen's cake. However, mature student Jenny's (Fay Ripley) happiness is short lived when some unexpected news sends her into a tailspin. Fiercely independent Karen is more interested in work than relationships, especially when a mystery author’s manuscript lands on her desk. Meanwhile, David (Robert Bathurst) and Nikki (Siobhan Finneran) are enjoying a more frugal life when Nikki’s divorce settlement comes through tipping the balance. How far will David go to protect his pride? Packed full of highs and heart-breaking lows, COLD FEET follows a tight- knit group of friends as they navigate their way through mid-life, facing whatever life throws at them, together. "I'm delighted that viewers feel invested in the lives and loves of our imperfect heroes. And I'm excited that we're being given the opportunity to tell the next chapter of their stories. We've got plenty of trials and tribulations in store for them as they navigate their way through middle age, and more than a few laughs and tears along the way." - COLD FEET Creator, Mike Bullen. ! And what a year it has been. The Association continues to grow and adapt to new challenges and a growing membership, which also grows younger each year. We continue to look at new ways of engaging our younger members, and I am delighted with the focus that the Committee has given to this endeavour. To that end we have hosted Christmas events for under 25s as well as the annual leavers’ BBQ. Although numbers to these events were not as strong as we would have The President’s Letter The President’s hoped for, we continue to meet the membership’s expectations from what they want from their Committee.
