British memberswill be sad to hear of the death of Tim Garland who was killed in a car accident in HongKong on 18 April, whilst visiting his parents, Tim was a keen memberof SandwichBay Bird Observatoryand greatly influenced their recent interest in waders; he will be sadly missed by his friends and colleagues.
