PROJECTS WHATS COMING UP Summer Playscheme/Badaguish Approximately 130 children (daily) from the community In the coming months local young people attended a two week Summer Playscheme programme, led by 20 Young Leaders (YL). YL gave up their holiday time to  Will participate in the HLH Leadership programme, deliver a range of activities; Swimming, dance, craft, games, attending Go Lead Award days, supporting young treasure hunt and lazer-tag. YL attended a residential trip to people in extra-curricular activities and encouraging Badaguish where they took part in various outdoor activities achievement through YAA, Saltire and Community and also gaining First Aid and Child Protection training. Awards Rock Challenge (RC) Alness RC Team demonstrated their talent in ,  Will continue to have opportunities to develop showcasing their performance at the RC Heats, picking up 13 personal and social skills and be actively recognised awards in the process. The team travelled to Dundee RC finals for any achievements where they picked up 5th place and 9 awards, giving the performance their all and learning a lot from the experience.  Will represent their community at the Local Area Saltire Summit Awards Youth Parliament conference which will be Aeryn Cleary and Angus Mitchell both picked up Saltire shared with the Localit Summit Awards for their outstanding voluntary contribution within their community. Well done!  Will be asked to engage with the East Ross HYP Summer Conference Community Partnership. This is the group of senior Alness HYP Representatives attended the Inverness representatives from Education (Care and Learning), Conference in June .At this event the R&C Youth Forum Health, the Third Sector, Enterprise and the presented and delivered their Mental Health Project, a Emergency Services who are all committed to resulting development from previous HYP motions. The involving communities to help improve local services opportunity for Youth voice expression was strong and young people were given the opportunity to speak with a number of  Will plan, develop and run the Alness Christmas partner agencies. Fayre Youth Forum Coffee Morning Members of the Alness Youth Forum organised a coffee  Will continue to work with Young Scot to develop morning at The Place and invited the whole community. the Year of Young People Programme for our area to Funds raised will go towards renovation of The Place youth ensure maximum youth engagement in the Highland space, which the young people will also lead. HLH Youth Survey  Will plan, develop and run a week of community Alness young people (179) took part in a Highland wide youth activities to relaunch The Place facility/showcase survey to evaluate youth experience with the services youth voice in the area provided.
