Page 3 MEET THE MODERATOR Steve Hawkins grew up in Rogersville, Tennessee, and graduated from East Tennessee State University (ETSU). He began working at WCYB-TV during his junior year of college and remained there for 35-years, as News Director and Anchor.

Steve joined Bristol Broadcasting in 2011 and began producing the Steve Hawkins Show on SuperTalk 92.9 WFHG in October 2011. In addition to hosting the morning talk show, he is also News Director for the four Bristol Broadcasting stations--WXBQ, Electric 94.9, Z Rock, and SuperTalk 92.9. Steve Hawkins Radio/Television An adjunct professor at ETSU for more than 25-years, Steve regularly teaches Personality News Reporting and Producing, and Broadcast Management. He co-wrote a textbook with Dr. Teresa Keller from Emory and Henry College in 2001. The Newswriting and Reporting textbook has been used at 40-colleges and universities in 20 states and is currently in the third edition.

Ken Cuccinelli is the official 2013 Republican nominee for Governor of Virginia. Ken Cuccinelli was sworn in as Virginia’s Attorney General on January 16, 2010.

As Attorney General, he has become best known for his efforts to preserve liberty and defend the U.S. Constitution.

Prior to assuming this role, he was a leading conservative member of the Virginia Senate from 2002 until 2010. His experience as a small business owner and an attorney had uniquely Ken Cuccinelli prepared him for his role in the General Assembly where he served on the Courts of Justice Committee, Transportation Committee, Local Government Committee, Rehabilitation and Social For More Information: Services Committee, and the Agriculture, Conservation and Natural Resources Committee.

From 2005 up to the present day, Ken has worked tirelessly to pass meaningful eminent domain laws that now prevent local and state governments from taking private homes and businesses for developers’ projects instead of for true public uses. Ken also had a strong record of supporting our police officers as they protect our communities. He passed legislation that stopped local governments from unfairly exploiting our law enforcement officers’ overtime work.

Prior to assuming the office of Attorney General, Ken was a small business owner and partner in the law firm of Cuccinelli & Day, in Fairfax. He was a business law attorney with a particular focus on serving as an outsourced general counsel to small and mid-sized companies. His wide range of experience included litigation, licensing, financing, employment, advertising, branding, corporate formation, business transactions and contracts for both domestic and international clients. Ken also had experience in public interest, constitutional law and property rights cases.

Ken has been married to his wife Teiro for more than 20 years and they have five daughters and two sons. Ken and Teiro are active members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville.

Page 4 Lieutenant Governor of Virginia The Republican nominee will be decided by the RPV State Convention on May 18, 2013 in Richmond from among the following seven candidates. The oldest of four children and the daughter of an Air Force civilian, Jeannemarie was born on an American Air Force base in England. After several moves, her family settled in Arlington, Virginia when she was ten years old. A product of the public school system, Jeannemarie graduated from Yorktown High School, in 1974. Jeannemarie attended the , where she earned a degree in Mathematics, in 1978.

In 1997, Jeannemarie was elected to the House of Delegates where she served for three Jeannemarie Davis terms. In 2003, Jeannemarie was elected to the State Senate and served until 2008. Jeannemarie is the proud mother of four grown daughters. Nichole, a marketing professional and entrepreneur, and Ashley, a graphic designer, are graduates of . Cassie, an Air Force officer (Captain), and Alexandra, a professional dancer, are graduates of the University of Virginia.

Jeannemarie and her husband, former Congressman Tom Davis, live in Vienna (Fairfax County) with their two very adorable Maltese dogs, Rory and Duchess.

E.W. Jackson served three years and was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA), Summa Cum Laude with a Phi Beta Kappa Key from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Three years later he graduated from Harvard Law School with a (JD). While in law school, he was accepted into the Baptist ministry and studied theology at Harvard Divinity School.

Jackson practiced small business law for 15 years in Boston, and taught Regulatory Law as an E.W. Jackson Adjunct Professor at the Graduate level at Northeastern University in Boston. Since returning to his ancestral home of Virginia, he has also taught graduate courses in Business and For More Information: Commercial Law at Strayer University in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. www.jacksonforlg.com In 1997, he retired from his private law practice in order to devote full time to ministry. In recognition of his national ministry leadership, E.W. Jackson was consecrated a Bishop in 1998. He and his wife, Theodora, have been married for forty-one years, have three children and reside in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Delegate L. Scott Lingamfelter was raised in Richmond, Virginia where he attended public and parochial schools. He then attended the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, Virginia where he earned a B.A. in History in 1973. After graduating from VMI as a Distinguished Military Graduate (DMG), he was commissioned in the Regular Army of the United States and began a career as a Field Artilleryman.

In 1979, the United States Army awarded him a full academic scholarship to the University of Scott Lingamfelter Virginia (UVa) where he earned a Master of Arts in Government and Foreign Affairs in 1981. After many assignments around the world during war and peace, he rose to the rank of For More Information: Colonel. Delegate Lingamfelter is married to the former Shelley Glick of Bridgewater, Virginia. They have three children. The Lingamfelter family attends Christ Our Lord Anglican Church.

Page 5 Senator Steve Martin represents Virginia's 11th Senate District, which includes a majority of Chesterfield County and all of Amelia County and the city of Colonial Heights. He has served in the Virginia Senate since his special election in 1994. Prior to that, he served in the House of Delegates from his election to that body in 1987. Throughout these years of service, Steve has focused on health, mental health, election law, property rights, economic development, and other issues that help make our Commonwealth a leader among the other states in the nation.

Steve Martin Senator Martin is a senior member on several standing committees in the Senate. He serves as the Chairman of the Education and Health Committee, and also serves on the Local For More Information: Government, General Laws and Technology, Privileges and Elections, Commerce and Labor, www.senatorstevemartin.com and Rules Committees. He is also active in a number of national organizations and serves on several commissions, task forces, and committees dedicated to addressing health care issues.

Steve was born in Chesterfield County and has seven siblings. He enjoys spending time with his sons and his two granddaughters, Olivia and Mckinley, and looks forward to welcoming his third grandchild in the near future. Steve is a member of South Richmond Rotary and Swift Creek Baptist Church, where he is involved in various ministries and efforts to meet the needs of others.

Pete is a successful entrepreneur. In 1999, Pete founded (NMS) out of his one-bedroom apartment and worked tirelessly to address a real need in the marketplace. In doing so, he founded the world’s first marketing agency. That company quickly grew from a tiny, shoe-string operation to creating hundreds of jobs here in Virginia. In 2012, Pete launched a new company called Disruptor Capital – a Virginia-based angel capital investment company focused on funding and growing new and emerging technologies, ideas, and entrepreneurs. Pete is both a proud alumnus and member of the Board of Visitors of the College of William and Mary. Pete and his wife, Burson, reside in Fairfax County.

Corey Stewart was re-elected Chairman At-Large of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors in 2011. Prince William County is the Commonwealth's second-most populated county with a population of approximately 425,000 people. Under Corey’s leadership, the Board has trimmed county spending by more than $143 million resulting in average tax bills being reduced to the lowest level in five years.

During Corey’s time as Chairman, Prince William County has been upgraded to AAA bond Corey Stewart rating status by all three-credit agencies – S&P, Fitch and Moody’s. Also, during Corey’s tenure Prince William County was ranked the #1 locality in job growth in Virginia and the #3 For More Information: locality for job growth in the nation. As Chairman, Corey has received national recognition for www.coreystewart.com implementing the nation’s toughest crackdown on illegal immigration, resulting in the County turning over more than 4500 criminal illegal immigrants to the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. Violent crime has dropped 35 percent since Corey took office, leaving overall crime at a 15-year low.

Corey and his wife of 17 years, Maria, reside in Woodbridge with their two sons Isaac and Luke, who attend Prince William County Schools. The Stewart’s are parishioners St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

Page 6 Susan Stimpson currently serves as Chairman of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors. A long-time conservative grassroots leader, Susan understands that liberty is the key to our prosperity.

As Chairman of Stafford County, Susan has put grassroots conservatism into action by cutting real estate tax 3 years in a row, eliminating the business tax, reducing government bureaucracy to 2004 levels and, in 2010, passing budgets lower than the previous year. Attorney General of Virginia The Republican nominee will be decided by the RPV State Convention on May 18, 2013 in Richmond from among the following two candidates.

An honors graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia Law School, Rob Bell served as a state prosecutor for five years.

In the Virginia General Assembly, Rob has written laws that crack down on drunk driving. As a result, MADD (Virginia) named him the 2005 Outstanding Legislator. He is also interested in school safety. In recent years, he has written laws to ban criminal sex offenders from school property during school hours and to require additional background checks on school personnel. Mark has been politically active practically his entire life. He has served as the chairman of two Republican committees, has been a delegate to every Republican state convention since 1980, and was a member of Virginia’s delegation to the 1980 Republican National Convention, which nominated Ronald Reagan. Mark has worked on the campaigns of virtually every Republican nominee for state and local office since he began practicing law in Harrisonburg in 1987.

He is the current Chairman of the Senate Privileges and Elections Committee and has become Mark Obenshain one of Virginia’s leading proponents of reform-minded limited government conservatism. Voting for the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor and for Attorney General will take place on Saturday, May 18.
