Meals on Wheels For those of you who would like to volunteer with Meals on Wheels again, you will be required to do a short training course, fill out a form, and sign one form, in order to serve. It’s not too involved, and you have the option of doing it online or reading a booklet on your own. The Covid-19 Pandemic has created many changes to their standards and policies. Below is the link to the Infection Protection Control training course. It’s approximately 30 minutes. If the online option doesn’t work, you can read and review the attached hand book and sign page 2 of the handbook. https://skhalearninganddevelopment.thinkific.com/courses/sha-IPAC If we have enough people trained as volunteers for Sask Health we will have the option of delivering meals on a more regular basis, for example 1 weekend every 2 months, but there will only be one route each day, and it’s much quicker and easier than it was before. Let me know if you’d like more information on the training, or you can contact Allison directly: Allison Klein Volunteer Services Coordinator – Kindersley, Kerrobert, Luseland, Eston & Eatonia Kindersley Intergrated Health Care Facility Saskatchewan Health Authority 306-463-1000 (ext 2504) or 306-460-5176(cell) I would like to get a list of names to her by October 1, so if this is an area where you would like to serve, please get the signed forms to me or Allison by September 30. .
