The congress will be held online from the 27th to 29th of May 2021. The venue of the Congress will be the Medical University of Bialystok. Together with acclaimed experts from Poland and abroad, and the attendants of the Congress, we will build up an interesting scientific programme including the latest developments in basic and clinical immunology, tackling such issues as primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, congenital immunodeficiency, immuno- regulation, autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases, cancer immunology and immunotherapy, immu- nology in personalized medicine, reproductive immunology, immunology of aging, immunotoxicology and immunology of COVID-19. The programme will also include sessions on allergology and methods of allergen therapy. We are looking forward to your active participation in the Congress and interesting propositions for lectures and poster presentations. We hope that the Congress will be a successful and productive event of high scien- tific value, and will have a positive impact on the progress in immunology. -

Genotyping of selected polymorphism was performed using real-time PCR. HLA-DRB1 shared epitope alleles segregated differently in Greek and Polish patients but in both populations were detected in over 60% of cases. The rs1051792-A variant was more common among SE-positive Polish patients (p = 0.003) while the rs1049174-G allele was more frequently observed in Greeks than in Poles (p < 0.001). Moreover, among Greek patients, the rs1051792-GG homozygotes more frequently present- ed with anti-CCP antibodies and rheumatoid factor (RF), while carriers of the rs1049174-G variant and rs1154831-CC homozygotes were characterized by lower disease activity scores (p < 0.05 in all cases). -

Jan Drzewiecki, ur. 18 czerwca 1938 w Bydgoszczy, zm. 28 listopada 2006 w Inowrocławiu, pianista, aranżer, kompozytor, syn Aleksandra (patrz – Aleksander Drzewiecki) i Józefy z domu Szulc, miał cztery córki, które zdobyły wykształcenie muzyczne: Mirosława – skrzypaczka w Filharmonii Bałtyckiej, Katarzyna – wiolonczelistka w Sinfonii Varsovia, Hanna – skrzypaczka w Teatrze Wielkim w Łodzi, Ewa – skrzypaczka w Toruńskiej Orkiestrze Symfonicznej. The functional role of the uncinate fasciculus is still uncertain. The role of the UF is attributed to the emotional empathy network. The present study aimed to more accurately the describe anatomical variability of the UF by focusing on the volume of fibers and testing for correlations with sex and age. -

In this report, in accordance with the decision of the Team for the development of Maps of Healthcare Needs in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery appointed by the Minister of Health, cardiac diseases are defined as diseases belonging to the following groups of diagnoses according to the ICD-10 classification: ischaemic heart disease (I20, I21, I24, I25), heart failure (I50), atrial fibrillation and flutter (I48), other rhythm and conduction disturbances (I44-I47, I49), cardiomyopathies (I42, I43), congenital heart defects (Q20-Q26), acquired heart defects (I05-I09, I34-I37), pulmonary embolism (I26). 2. To determine the incidence of cardiac diseases and the provision of healthcare services in the field of cardiology, the National Health Fund (NFZ) database was used for the years 2009- 2014, while the number of new cases was determined for 2010-2013 (2009 and 2014 were used to verify if the patient is a first-time patient). -
