Paper and pencils are required to keep score. Work together with your team to achieve the highest possible score in each of the two events. Team Chest Mark Appoint one person in your team as the Official Counter. They will need to have paper and pencil to write down your scores. Get into pairs and start counting how many times you can ‘chest mark’ a football without dropping it over a set distance. Your Official Counter will write down each successful attempt. Ask your Official Counter to add up your team’s total score. Once calculated, let your teacher know the result. Refer to handball advice on the NAB AFL Auskick site aflauskick.com.au and the AFL Community Website which will take them direct to the section. Handball Each member of the group must try to handball the football at a specific target. A chalk-drawn target on a brick wall would suffice as a makeshift target. If the handball target has numbers and zones painted on it, add up the score achieved by each member of the team. If the handball target has a hole in the centre, count the number of times each student gets the football through the hole. Ask your Official Counter to add up your team’s total score.
