    ASX ANNOUNCEMENT 25 JULY 2018 CROCMEDIA ACQUIRES AFL PUBLICATIONS BUSINESS Crocmedia Pty Ltd (Crocmedia) a wholly-owned subsidiary of ASX listed Pacific Star Network Limited (Company), is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with the Australian Football League (AFL) to acquire the AFL Publications business (AFL Record). The Company will acquire all assets and liabilities required to continue to operate the AFL Record, including licencing of AFL trademarks. Crocmedia will produce all weekly match-day magazine content, including the AFL Record, AFLW publications, the AFL Season Guide, JLT Community Series, AFLX, International Rules Series, and the AFL Finals and Toyota AFL Grand Final editions. The AFL Record has been the official match program for more than 100 years. Since Essendon won the premiership in the AFL Record’s inaugural year of 1912, the AFL Record has continued to inform and entertain fans from generation to generation. The total purchase price of $8.1m is comprised of $5.85m cash and $2.25m prepaid advertising to be retained by the AFL. Cash consideration will be paid in three instalments over 12 months, being: $2.383m on completion; $1.733m on 31 October 2018; and $1.734m on the anniversary of completion. Crocmedia will be entitled to the profits from the AFL Record from round 9 in season 2018. The quantum of these profits will be deducted from the second purchase price instalment on 31 October 2018. The Company intends to fund the acquisition from operating cash flow in addition to utilising existing available debt facilities. The acquisition is expected to be completed this week subject to the satisfaction of standard conditions.

Several clubs increased their support over the last year including 2018 Premiers West Coast Eagles, surprise 2018 Preliminary Finalists Melbourne and this year’s ‘bolter’ the second-placed Brisbane Lions. Reigning AFL Premiers West Coast Eagles had the biggest increase lifting their support base by a huge 186,000 (+34%) to 733,000 to be Australia’s second most widely supported AFL club. E Melbourne surprised many by getting within one victory of a first Grand Final in nearly two decades in 2018 and this run to the Preliminary Final has helped boost Melbourne’s support by 44,000 (+22.2%) to 242,000 while the Brisbane Lions have increased their support by 84,000 (+19.5%) to 515,000. Other teams to increase their support over the last year include the Fremantle Dockers who moved into the new Perth Stadium in 2018 up by 14,000 (+3.9%) to 371,000; Port Adelaide which saw support increase 17,000 (+6.6%) to 276,000; North Melbourne for which support increased 16,000 (+7,6%) to 226,000; and the GWS Giants up by 13,000 to 190,000.

Growing up in Jerilderie in southern NSW, Brownless was a schoolboy star with Assumption College before making his debut with Cats in 1986. The proud father of four has son Oscar following in his footsteps, with the young midfielder in to his second year on the Cats’ AFL list. Brownless made his senior VFL debut in Round 1, 1986 and quickly made a name for himself as a strong full-forward, winning the Cats’ best first year player award that year. Twice he led Geelong’s goalkicking, was All-Australian in 1991 and had a thirst for the big occasion. Nine goals in the 1992 Qualifying Final, eight in the classic 1991 Elimination Final win over St Kilda and an average of three goals per game across the four Grand Finals he played in stamped his qualities. His Uncle, Craig played 144 games for Collingwood and Brisbane in the early 90s after being recruited from East Perth in the WAFL Competition. Brandon began his football career at Mount Lawley-Ingelwood Junior Football Club, before following in his uncle’s footsteps, joining East Perth. He played 20 colts games across 2016-2017 and represented WA in the 2017 AFL Under 18 Championships. In this time, Starcevich also attended Trinity College where he participated in cricket, athletics and football. After a solid 18s Championships, Starcevich was labelled the WA draft bolter and was eventually picked by the Brisbane Lions at number 18 in the national draft. After relocating to the east coast and being a consistent performer for the Lions NEAFL side, Starcevich made his way into the Lions best 22 for the round 20 clash against North Melbourne. His 2019 campaign was interrupted due to a hamstring injury sustained in the pre-season, however he eventually returned and earned himself a 2 year contract extension, tying him to Brisbane until 2021. A huge off-season, saw, Starcevich take his game to a whole new level, becoming an integral piece to the Lions success in season 2020.
