37 Brock Mealer Brock Mealer is an Ohio man who learned to walk again after a devastating car accident that killed his father in 2007. Mealer’s younger brother, Elliot Mealer, who was also hurt in the car accident, went on to play football as an offensive lineman in Michigan.

Mealer was paralyzed from the waist down doctors gave him a 1% chance of walking again.

Mealer worked with Mike Barwis, the former strength and conditioning coach at University of Michigan and walked to the 50-yard-line of Michigan Stadium prior to the Wolverines' 2010 home opener.

After the car accident, Mealer went back to finish his undergraduate degree in Economics and earned his Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Ohio State University. He had also been a frequent guest of Coach Jim Tressel at Ohio State practices.
