For each abstract and paper at least two qualified reviewers were appointed on the basis of their independence and they reviewed the abstract or full paper devoid of the authors’ names and institutions in order to ensure objectivity and anonymity. Following review and acceptance, the papers were presented at the Journalism Education and Research Association of Australia 2014 Conference at the University of Technology Sydney, Sydney, NSW, Australia. 24-27 November 2014.
