Four mosquito species—Anopheles (Nyssorhynchus) galvaoi, An.(Anopheles) mediopunctatus, Culex (Culex) lahillei, and Uranotaenia (Uranotaenia) geometrica´ —were recorded for the first time in northwestern Argentina. In addition, Psorophora (Grabhamia) confinnis and Cx.(Melanoconion) pedroi are reported for the first time in Jujuy Province, while Aedes (Ochlerotatus) hastatus, Coquillettidia (Rhynchotaenia) hermanoi, An.(Ano.)
