Overview: Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. According to the Samudra Manthan, Haridwar along with Ujjain, Nasik and Allahabad is one of four sites where drops of Amrit, the elixir of immortality, accidentally spilled over from the pitcher while being carried by the celestial bird Garuda. This is manifested in the Kumbha Mela being celebrated every 3 years in one of the 4 places, and thus every 12 years in Haridwar.
The name Rishikesh is loosely applied to an association of five distinct sections encompassing not only the town but also hamlets and settlements on both sides of the river Ganges. These include Rishikesh itself, the commercial and communication hub; the sprawling suburb Muni-ki-Reti or the "Sands of the Sages".

Onward Journey: A.P.EXPRESS & No.12723 + Departure time 06:50 hrs from Secunderabad(SC) & Arrival Time 09:05 hrs at New Delhi(NDLS).
Return Journey: A.P.EXPRESS & No.12724 + Departure time 17:30 hrs from New Delhi(NDLS) & Arrival time 19:15 hrs at Secunderabad(SC).
Day 01:- Departure by A.P Express to New Delhi at 06:50 hrs. Full day and night journey.
Day 02:- Arrival at New Delhi and proceed to hotel for freshenup. After freshen up proceed to Haridwar by road 200 kms(5 hrs). Arrival at Haridwar in late afternoon. Check in to hotel and evening go for Ganga Aarti. Night stay at Hotel.
Day 03:- Morning go for Ganga Snan and after breakfast, visit Mansa Devi Temple, Har ki Paudi and other places at Haridwar. Night stay at Haridwar.
Day 04:- After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Rishikesh including Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Navlakha Temple and Geeta Ashram. Evening return to hotel and Night stay.

Day 05:- Morning by 10.00 hrs, checkout hotel and departure to Delhi. Arrival at Delhi railway station by 16:00 hrs. Drop at Railway station to board the train at 17.35 hrs to Secunderabad.
Day 06:- Arrival at Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs.
