Number of Crimes which took place in the Meadows Meadows 3 a5) number of person sentenced in Meadows area for gun crime since 1995 Sentencing is dealt with by the Courts and so Nottinghamshire Police do not hold this information. a6) Number of gun crime incidents in City of Nottingham and County of Nottinghamshire since 1995 As above. Please see our answer to ‘a’. a7) Number of initiatives funded to prevent gun crime incidents and breakdown of funding by area organisation & year We are unable to supply the answer to this question as the information is not held centrally or in the format you have requested. Initiatives may not be aimed solely at Gun Crime incidents but may be part of a wider initiative and therefore we would be unable to retrieve the data as requested within the cost threshold. This letter constitutes a refusal notice under Section 17(5) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 with Section 12(1) of the act being applied 12. – (1) Section 1(1) does not oblige a public authority to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying with the request would exceed the appropriate limit. Due to the large amount of information which would need to be searched over multiple departments, I am unable to suggest a refinement that would bring the request within the cost threshold.
