Holy Cross Storylines • Holy Cross enters Saturday’s game at 6-6 overall and 1-0 in the Patriot League. • The Crusaders defeated Boston University, 80-64, in its league opener on Wednesday. • Holy Cross trailed by five points at halftime but used a 10-0 run to open the second half to take control of the game. • Junior forward Malachi Alexander led the team with 17 points and was 7-of-8 from the field. • Freshman forward Karl Charles added 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots. • Junior guard Robert Champion leads the team in scoring at 12.3 points per game and has made 22 3-pointers. • Alexander is second in the team in scoring at 11.2 points per game and averages 6.0 rebounds.
